Blogging or YouTube Shorts?

Which path has a better success outcome if you have no experience on either?
Also, I don't have large budget. Only like $100. I don't have skills, only time.

YouTube Shorts get you shadow banned I think, then is it expensive to get 4g proxies and stuff to start a new account?

For blogging I need domain, hosting, chatgpt, semrush group buy and maybe grammarly.
For YouTube Shorts I need domain, hosting, proxies, virtual machines??

I have time only on weekends due to my full time job, $100 in savings and I can learn stuff needed like seo basics, javascript, etc.

I just want to choose the best method to focus on it for a long time, say years.
Hopefully I will be able to make some extra money.

Does AI blogging still work or should I stick to manually written content?

u overthinking it hard rn. with $100 and weekends, go blogging with a micro niche. slow grind but u own the turf. yt shorts need burner setup, proxies, luck + size. and u still might get nuked. ai blog still hits if u give some human touch to your content. write raw, mix it up, focus 1 niche.

You can start cheap with basic hosting + domain, use free SEO tools, and create content manually or with light AI help. YouTube Shorts can work, but proxies, VMs, and account issues make it more complex and expensive to scale.
 
How do you go about finding a good & cheap expired domain that gets traffic?

I will address the AI blogging part. Yes, AI content works well. However, you need to ensure that there is no more than 5% plagiarism. Ensure that content has no grammar mistakes. Content needs to focus on providing value to users.
 
You already have something in mind like affiliate marketing or CPA. You're thinking about driving traffic to your site with youtube shorts. You're also sure that your channel gets banned so you're thinking about using proxies. It's difficult to suggest anything without this background info. If you know this much, you already know answers too. You just need some brainstorming and research to find the right approach.
 
And obviously you can do both, as in first setting up a blog (either TLD or on wordpress.com), then a youtube shorts system, perhaps simplified enough on either end to be manageable. This way you can make all your mistakes first, before spending too much time or money.

Start with YouTube shorts in a niche you can get multiple videos on

Google can't do shit about that
While blogs are good..ai disrupted that industry and I currently don't see it as a long term plan
 
Choose blogging, it just needs a $100 domain and hosting, short weekend AI drafted posts you polish yourself, and SEO you learn over time. Shorts need video gear, proxies, and risk bans. Blogging’s cheaper and easier. Good luck.
 
Since you’re starting from zero, have a limited budget, and only weekends free, I highly recommend blogging, but don't expect to earn money soon, it will takes months, even year before seeing cent
 
AI blogging works if you heavily edit and add your own touch to it.
 
Try free ways to earn on the internet, save your $100 for emergencies, even if the earnings are slow with methods that you don't have to spend money on

Blogging is more good and long term plan, like you can get your website to the top in few years and year thousands and its more reliable then youtube shorts.
