From my personal experience, I believe this approach might help some of you.

In my blogging journey, I've found that it becomes increasingly challenging to keep publishing consistently over time. Recently, I tried a task batching approach where each day is dedicated to a single type of task.

For example, one day might be focused on adding images, while another is set aside for writing without worrying about internal linking or editing.

One major issue with trying to complete all stages of a post in one sitting is decision fatigue. Switching between different types of tasks can quickly drain your mental energy and disrupt your momentum.

By repeating the same type of task multiple times in a day, you can perform it more quickly and efficiently. This focused approach helps build momentum and reduces the risk of perfectionism.

Starting a post can feel daunting if you know it requires several hours of intense, varied work. By breaking it into manageable chunks, you can avoid procrastination and make the process like a piece of cake.

DETAILED EXAMPLE: (AI Answer): 2 Posts/Day example

Adjust the days and tasks according to your project needs. For example, if adding images is a substantial task, allocate 2 days for it. If you use a one-click AI tool to generate articles, you might only need 1 or 2 days per week for content generation.

1. Content Planning (1 Day per Month)

  • Brainstorm in Bulk: At the beginning of the month, brainstorm 56 topics (14 posts per week x 4 weeks). Group these into categories or themes to streamline your research and writing later on.
  • Create a Content Calendar: Assign specific topics to each day, ensuring a balanced mix of content. This helps you maintain variety and prevents burnout.

2. Outlining (1 Day per Week)

  • Outline 14 Posts
    • Morning Session: Outline 7 posts. Break down each post into introduction, main points, subheadings, and conclusions.
    • Afternoon Session: Outline the remaining 7 posts. Having detailed outlines makes writing faster and more straightforward.

3. Writing (4 Days per Week)

  • Day 1: Write 4 Posts
    • Morning Session: Draft 2 posts. Use your outlines to write quickly and efficiently.
    • Afternoon Session: Draft 2 more posts.
  • Day 2: Write 4 Posts
    • Follow the same structure as Day 1, focusing on getting 4 more posts written.
  • Day 3: Write 4 Posts
    • Repeat the process to draft 4 additional posts.
  • Day 4: Write 2 Posts and Review
    • Morning Session: Draft the final 2 posts for the week.
    • Afternoon Session: Do a quick review of all 14 drafts to ensure consistency and quality.

4. Editing and Final Touches (1 or 2 Days per Week)

  • Morning Session:
    • Edit 7 Posts: Proofread, check for SEO optimization, and add any necessary images or links. Use tools like Grammarly and Yoast SEO to speed up the process.
  • Afternoon Session:
    • Edit the Remaining 7 Posts: Repeat the editing process for the last batch of posts.
  • Final Review: Give all 14 posts a final review to ensure they’re ready for publishing.
CHEERS!!

I mean, sure, th-thanks...I guess...

But anyone of us can prompt AI into giving breakdowns for workflows about anything, in a generic manner.

And besides, it is not the time allocation that makes blogging an arduous activity IMHO. It is the establishment of concrete workflows using the concrete toolsets you have available. Establishing when it is time to draft, or when it is time to proof read, or the time to create outlines is kind of meaningless.

Where the gold truly lies is when you grant people with a concrete working model ("Use this app in this specific way for write an outline; then program IFTT to do ABC and Zappier to do ABC2; then us this specific app to write the introduction and use it in this specific way. Then start writing in such and such way, and use XYZ voice (...)")

CONCRETE ACTIONABLE STEPS are the things that truly help others whether we're talking about writing or creating video or whatever, and everyone knows this deep know. And because this is where the true gold lies, plenty of people will refuse to disclose the tricks of the trade.

Sometimes I understand them though, given how NPC-like so many forum members can be, basically asking for unpaid labor from other forum members, as tutors ("pls, teach how to make money in 2024, can you send message"). ***Sigh***

Thanks for the tips, could be helpful to those who are just starting out and unsure of how to plan their time.

Impeccable work, thank you for this guide it gives me idea of starting off this kind of stuff. cheers!

This is not a service, if you look for writters, post a HAF thread.
