it crashes everytime for me, just started to crash today too. it doesnt show any log just freezes on the login screen then it exits out without ever opening the actual app
There is a bug with the current version that it tries to load the save file, but since it doesn't exists, it will crash. Fix will be released soon.
Thanks for reply earlier on...
Some more questions arise:
1. Could you explain how blacklists work? Follow blacklists.. Is it basically people that didn't pass filters? Also there is Add followed user to private and public. Could you please explain that also..
2.In schedule more than one time can be aided for each day. Why is it this way?
3. I got suspicious activity on my Instagram.. Somebody tried to login from Vietnam ( i am Ireland based, it was 4am here..) into my account.. I dont use proxy.. I run it from my pc at home with my normal IP.. I am sure that nobody could get password from my account unless i got hacked.. And still even if my excel with passwords got hacked i use salt (as a developer u must know what it is) with each password.. Could it be software made some mistakes?
Some bugs I discovered:
1.In schedule when adding time for example start time is 7am and end time is 2am... It doesn't let me because end time is smaller, i be alive ur algorithm logic is not properly written in this one.
2. When clicking on user scraping>> import file nothing happens
3. After trying to save my template program stoped working and crashed..
Blacklisted users will not be followed, no matter their settings.Add followed users to blacklist, means after following a user, they will be added to the blacklist and never be followed again. The diffrence between public and private blacklists, is that public blacklists are shared by all accounts.
The reason you can schedule more than one time each day is because you may want the bot to work for example from 8am-9am and then start working again at 13pm-15pm. - this way it can be done. Also, it's logical that it does not allow you to set start time 7am and end time 2am, since 2am comes before 7am and time goes forward not backward. If you want to set it to work from 7am till 2am next day, then you need to set it to work from 7am-0pm and then from 0am-2am the next day.
As for suspicious activity, if you are not using a proxy and don't recognize the IP, then you need to reset your password - basic procedure. The software stores all your login credentials locally on your hard drive encrypted, so even if someone had access to the software, they can't extract your Instagram passwords.
When clicking on user scraping and importing a file, you need to first select a scraping source before you can import, so it's normal it does nothing if you don't select anything. The issues with the templates, is known and will be fixed soon.
What's the procedure once the sniff out your "suspicious activity" ? I changed the password. Do I wait a couple days then heat it up again or ?
Change your password, then restart it. If you do recognize the ip (if you are using a proxy for example), you don't need to change your password, but just confirm your accout.
I think I found a glitch with the Unfollow Module.
If Extra Filters is set to Ignore followers (blue) and Ignore external users is unmarked (not blue).
And, Extra Settings-Unfollow Users After x Days is set to 7
Any accounts followed externally via browser or IG App will be unfollowed that same day.
Even so, that even if you follow them again, externally, the gmt2 bot will not allow you to put them on the Whitelist, because it's already in the Unfollowed database.
@JJJackson if I may recommend:
1. Allow Whitelisting of accounts already in Unfollowed database. ie, Account will follow externally, allow to be placed on Whitelist, even if in Unfollowed database
2. Check why externally followed accounts are unfollowed within 24 hours, even when Extra Settings is set to longer times.
I'll send you copy of logs.
Additionally to the above, I see that the followings are only loaded once for the Whitelist. I need to close the program and reopen for the "loading followings" message to come back and refresh the followings for the account that I will be adding names to the Whitelist.
Closing the module (getting out Back to the Settings) and then opening/Edit Settings does not refresh the "followings" when opening the Whitelist.
When the bot follows a user, it adds the user to a database with the date they were followed. Then based on this date, it can determine if it's time to unfollow them. If you manually follow users outside of GMT2, the bot doesn't know when they were followed and will ignore the unfollow after x days for those users. The reason you can't see those users in the whitelist right after following them is that your followings is only refreshed every 20 minutes (this will be done in the background), so if you would wait at least 20 minutes, you would see the users you followed outside of GMT2. If they are followed by GMT2 itself, they will appear immediately. It doesn't matter if they are in the unfollowed database or not, if you are following them, they will appear in the Whitelist to choose from.
So it's simply impossible to know when users were followed outside of GMT2 since Instagram does not store this information. - However, I will see if I can add a "Refresh Followings" button, so you can add users to the whitelist if you just followed them.
