I have been on this site for a long time, but been inactive for a while... So when I came back, I thought I should share my story :p

I have not had to much success, I have been trying since I was 13 years old. and now I am 22... I have made around $4000 so far... On Clickbank, Squidoo, Adsense and as an adult site affiliate. Some of the methods I used was my own and pretty damn genius, but then they just died out and I was back to square one. I have read a lot of guides here on BHW, and some of them have helped me make som money. But as you se, $4000 in 9 years is not much to brag about. It just seams like everything I do somehow just dies.

But now I want to try again, so I am working on a Norwegian site about IM, and I will use Adsense and promote some Clickbank products. Because I have learned a lot in 9 years, and one of the things I have learned, is to never give up!

One of the first things I read on BHW back when I was 16 was: "If you can make a dollar online, you can make a million dollars online".

That quote is one of the things I have had in the back of my head my entire IM journey. So now I am going to give this website everything I have learned from black hat world! And hope this will be success :)

If you are reading this, and have not made much money online jet, just remember, I have been doing it for 9 years and have almost nothing to show moneywhise... But now I am going to use all I have learned and try again!

I suggest you do the same :)

I wondered if bhw existed 6 years back when you mentioned that you read that quote..Anyways, now I know bhw is 7 Years, 3 Months, 2 days old...
 
That is a great quote man! I've just earned .50$ with PPD from last few months, hope I'll at least reach half a million dollars online :D

Keep at it, you will reach what some call the tipping point! Where so much money starts to flow in, that you wonder where it was all this time! I haven't reached there yet, but know some people that have.

I like that positive attitude!

Though, if you haven't really had a lot of success yet, maybe it's time to try something different? Instead of affiliate marketing where it's volatile .. have you thought about creating your own product? Maybe an information product?

Something you can focus on entirely, promote, collect leads and make back-end income via affiliate marketing that way? Do you have a list? If not, you're missing out on a lot of money.

I'm a friend of Yourmaster, and he was the one who introduced me to IM back in 2008, when we were 16-17 years old. I remember seeing his adsense account with $2000 in it, and that opened my eyes to the opportunities of the internet. Unfortunately, his account was closed with all the money in it.

It was during that summer of 2008 that I first discovered this forum. The following year, me and Yourmaster discussed a lot of different methods for making money online.

I have not had total success myself either, although I started more than 5 years ago. But I am very grateful for being introduced to IM, and all the knowledge I now have is priceless. Thank you, Yourmaster!
I am currently in college studying business, but I wouldn't trade my IM knowledge for a MBA-degree!

My personal advice to everyone: Keep on keeping on! When looking back, every time I thought success was within reach, and I was starting earning or selling pretty good, something happened that temporarily defeated me, and I gave up the whole thing. This happened time after time.
I once had a blog with pictures of celebrities, and I used mininova to bulk-upload pictures, and get traffic to my site, but suddently mininova was shut down, and I decided to give up the whole thing.
When I launched my WSO, I got excellent reviews, but my thread was closed after 70 sales because ONE paragraph in my ebook violated the WSO-rules, and I quit... When I decided to release it a year after, the information was old, and I only got 3 sales and bad reviews!

I have finally grown up now, and I understand that IM takes time, effort and patience. I have now moved on to building niche sites and product creation. When I have graduated from college, I am hoping to have a good online business, and be able to work with it full time :)

I think I would be rich by now if the method I used with adsense 5 years ago still worked, and they actually paid me ;)

Keep up the good work! And we might end up doing IM together in the future :D

Exactly.

Build a real business. Offer value. Stop trying to do methods that make a thousand bucks and then die out.

Build an actual authority site... or create an offline SEO business. Build something that will last long term.
 
Just worked IM part-time for fun, and made within a year $13,000+... I guess it depends on how determined you are on your goals and if you do things right!

You have to try things in online marketing ,they are endless opportunities. Build more blogs and try to scale it up. Don't sit at once place, You should have tried other cpa than clickbank.
