Ask me anything about Facebook Ads 2019

hey @Drought , thanks for starting this thread!

I have a server/FB question. Im a newbie to facebook so excuse my question if it seems all over the place but it definitely is related specifically to FB.

I see that a lot of BH & even some WH affiliates are creating multiple droplet servers for each domain so that if one account goes down it is in no way connected with the other ad accounts.

From what ive put together it goes like this on Digital Ocean

1 Domain > Connected to 1 droplet > Connected to 1 Individual Static IP

Each droplet is about 5 dollars for the minimum size server .

I was wondering if you knew how FB media buyers are creating so many droplets with its own individual IP & Domain with easy access to them all through an FTP server such as Filezilla. I would think that after a while it would be very hard to handle dozens of servers just so that FB wont recognize the connection.

If you have a different setup/method please let me know.

I have never heard of this setup and could not offer any advice on it.

You hire a coder/server guy to manage it all for you.

Do clients ad you to there business manager or you create own campaigns using your personal profile.
I'm currently working on 3 projects and I was thinking to separate them or just run ads from the same profile running a risk of having 1 accounts limited for all the accounts.

My first question is what payment method ,card cc accepted by facebook now? Is there any virtual cc that can be used by facebook ads?

Hi, what tools/services do you use to create and analyze prelanders/landing pages?

Hi there, There are few things i am really confused and can't find any help.

1> I find using "Traffic" very cost efficiency. cause per every click i pay like 0.1$ . engagement is very shit cause facebook delivers to them those people who just likes.. , I find "Reach" good as well But i still prefer traffic cause , I get more traffic to my website. What do you think about these things, I am selling contact lens and tickets for events (messenger message for this).
2> I don't know how exactly facebook works, But i would liked to believe that , if i am using Traffic and put some ugly picture so that i can get more reach but few clicks, I feel like i am doing good here But what if , facebook auto system realize that i ain't getting good click so may be they increase rate per click accordingly? what do you think is the best way here? Should i put attractive image and expect cost per click be low?
3>What is the best way to optimize video ads? is pay per 10 sec bettter than reach?, does the video plays auto for all facebook users and mobile users or they have to click?

thanks

What campaign Objective did you select? What is the price for both of these services? Did you run direct to purchase or a lead form?

Hi,

Not sure what is a campaign objective. Our objective was to make sure that people fill out the necessary details like name, no. etc.

Price was 40$ for invitation video and 100$ for an explainer video.

We placed a lead form.

I've done both. Most clients invite my personal profile to their Business Manager. There's no risk in that.

No idea

Im not able to create fb business manager account using payoneer card :( any suggestions?

1, If you're goal is selling contact lenses and event tickets, your goal shouldn't be clicks OR reach. It should be sales. And for sales nothing is going to outperform the Conversion objective.

2. Yes, that is how the algorithm works, Facebook will favor ads that get clicked on more often. See my answer to Q1.

3. 10 second video views is fine. Videos autoplay when someone stops on your ad placement.

Did you use an external landing page or a Lead Ad? The objective is the first thing you select when you create a Campaign.

Where to get $250 Ad coupon? :anyway:

No idea

How would you promote a digital marketing saas?

Free trial targeted at high-intent and high-value audiences.

Hi,

We used a lead ad.

Campaign Objective was lead generation.

I have a question as i am interested in promoting my website via fb. I have this website that has been blocked by FB and I cant post it on any groups. Is there a way to undo this?

And you got 0 leads? What countries/Interests did you target? For a video production company with things like explainer videos targeting small business software like HubSpot or InfusionSoft would be good ideas if you haven't tried that already

LoL, be reasonable la.
How would one know which credit card accepted in your home country? LoL, what a joke!

Exactly

You can buy your own domain, install WordPress, and then use the Short Link plugin to redirect a url like yourdomain.com/go to the website that's blocked, and that should work.

is it still possible to upload a list of emails as a custom audience in FB ads?
