hi, I have two questions.

What is your favorites tool to create video ads?

if you have an e-com store how do you find the winning product to advertise?

DaVinci Resolve is free video editing software that a few of my clients use. You can also use Facebook's built-in video slideshow tool.

To find winning products create single Interest ad sets and test different products within each.

If we duplicate the ad set, wouldn't it will result in duplicate audience?
Will the new duplicated ad set shows ads to the same audience that previously been shown on the old ad set?

Duplicate audiences are fine at lower budgets (<$500/day). But what I meant was when you scale an ad set you should duplicate it, change the budget on the NEW duplicate, and disable the old ad set. That way if scaling fails you can always go back to the old ad set without resetting the algorithm's learning.

hey Drought when someone comes to you as a client asking you to handle their FB ad acc to generate for them sales/leads

would you accept anyone? i mean what if the niche or service that the client comes up with is a failure in the long run .. how i know if im not familiar with their product/service if it's going to be a success when I've not tested myself yet

shouldn't i guarantee them any results?

Maybe a large increase in fraud? Not really sure, I hadn't even heard of this issue until now.

I don't accept everyone and I never guarantee results. Any marketer that promises you results is lying to you.

I also don't work with clients that don't have existing revenue (ideally $5k/month minimum). This shows that their business is validated and they at least have a decent funnel in place.

I don't know, never used AdEspresso. You can see competitor ads just by going to their Facebook Page and clicking on the 'Info and Ads' tab on the left side of the screen.

I ran two campaigns; one for birthday invitation video and other for an explainer video.

For birthday invitation - We targeted people who had birthdays in April and whose birthday was in the next 30 days. Age was :25-60 and we targeted USA and Canada for the same.

For explainer videos - business owners, people who own a business, small business owners, ceo, founders and some specific states of USA. Age: 30-60.

However, the conversion was not so good and we had to stop the ads.

What campaign Objective did you select? What is the price for both of these services? Did you run direct to purchase or a lead form?

People are going to say they changed, but they'll basically be the same. Facebook ads will still be the go to, because of all the data, nobody is even close to the type of targeting they provide.

Yes, It’s a great way for new brands to break into my consideration set. I’ve purchased shoes (was an early adopter on Allbirds shoes via FB ads) - clothing (mostly lived up to expectations) - and even concert tickets for bands I wasn’t aware were coming to town. I give FB ads a thumbs up for effectiveness, provided the content and the user are tightly matched.

There are literally entire brands built on top of Facebook Ads. You are delusional if you think they aren't the most valuable traffic source in 2019.

hey @Drought , thanks for starting this thread!

I have a server/FB question. Im a newbie to facebook so excuse my question if it seems all over the place but it definitely is related specifically to FB.

I see that a lot of BH & even some WH affiliates are creating multiple droplet servers for each domain so that if one account goes down it is in no way connected with the other ad accounts.

From what ive put together it goes like this on Digital Ocean

1 Domain > Connected to 1 droplet > Connected to 1 Individual Static IP

Each droplet is about 5 dollars for the minimum size server .

I was wondering if you knew how FB media buyers are creating so many droplets with its own individual IP & Domain with easy access to them all through an FTP server such as Filezilla. I would think that after a while it would be very hard to handle dozens of servers just so that FB wont recognize the connection.

If you have a different setup/method please let me know.
