Ask me anything about dropshipping on ebay

I've got 2 main questions :). Straight to the point:

1. Is there a legal workaround VAT for those operating from Europe?

2. How does one handle refunds (where does one send them / explain to the customer)?

I've not been able to answer these questions myself so far and would love to hear your answer :).

Hey there.
There is no VAT added to dropship as far as i know.
Unless you deliver the stock to yourself, and than it is not dropshiping aint it? :)

About returns, there is an option of renting a P.O box, though this option is not for people like me who has 10+ accounts.
In case of dropshiping returns, You can PM the customer and ask them to send it to the suppliers address with a reason of "Im on vacation" or smthing.
Just be creative.

We use Amazon solely. If you make 3000 purchases a month from Amazon ($100/day) and your average item cost is $40, you'll be handing Amazon's marketplace $120,000 a month. They won't complain :)

All about giving back :) Good Q's. Scale your PMs alongside the scaling of your items listed/selling limits. We're going to talk more about this in our course but we recommend you sell at a $2 profit margin until you gain your teal star!

Here's my pro-tip of the morning: Get your gold star before you even list an item. Feedback plays a role in the selling limits you're given

I personally am not familiar with VAT and only operate inside of the United States so I'm not the guy to answer #1

#2 I can take care of though. There are two ways to do it: 1. You click return on Amazon and it will give you an address to ship the item to- You then give that address to your buyer and let him/her ship it there for you

2. You have the buyer ship it to your house, then you click return, and ship it out to the address Amazon gives you yourself

Zach and Saul - Is there any automated programs out there via API that can fill out orders for you? That seems to be the last piece of the puzzle. I already have most of everything else automated right now. Scraping, repricing, competition comparison. But filling out orders manually would be the last piece of the puzzle.

PriceYak will fill out orders but it costs $1 per order which I can imagine really eats into margin.

I never used them because of their pricing structure overall. Using Hydra right now with Skugrid. But they don't offer that right now.

Thank you for answering my questions :). I'm not exactly sure, but I always thought VAT only included virtual goods. If this is the case, there shouldn't be any problems? If it includes non-virtual goods, this method will be very hard if you are targeting the US as a European. In my country there is a 21% VAT. After a certain amount (mentioned in the thread somewhere) you pay 21% "VAT tax" over every sale kind of eliminating a decent profit margin.
 
How much listing "SEO" do you guys do, and how much time is really put into that? Is that one of the keys to selling is making the listing title much different than the rest?

If so, is this by choice or just because the way eBay does things.

eBay wants you to open 1 account only.
But eBay wants doesnt mean you must do it :) If you go slow, step by step to the eBay stealth guide, you can have as many as you want

The stealth guide is the main guide most of us stealh account user purchased and read.

Listing SEO is probably the most important part of eBay selling. We definitely focus on it

Never. If it happens to you just tell them that you use Amazon's fulfillment program to ship your items

Yes. One store/eBay account. eBay doesn't want you listing the same items under multiple names

This is completely false. eBay encourages the use of multiple accounts: they allow up to 8 per paypal. Their only rule is that you don't list the same items across multiple stores

Going stealth only becomes important if:

1. You've been banned from eBay
2. You've been successfully banking on eBay for several months and want to create more/spread out your eBay revenue streams
