Hey, I appreciate the reply. Im gonna start looking into this some more, seems very interesting.![]()
Down the line you can list higher priced items at higher profit margins. When you're first starting off you'll have paypal holds so I recommend you list the least expensive items you can find
s
paypal holds money? I found 1 product that is 200 dollars profit. but it is very high cost
I have aged ebay around 10 years old just got verified today for selling.
paypal verified earlier this year. had it for 10 years, but they said i could not buy anymore until i got verified. I was buying ebooks and software
does this apply to me?
Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. If you get an amzon accountbanned just make a new one with a new email address. I use my top level domain (business site) so i literally just make a new email address there in 10 seconds and make a new account. They love how we dorpshippers do tons of orders so you have to see it differently. they cut us off and they lose some good sales.
Tons of people do dropshipping. Everywhere around you, we buy things at marked up prices![]()
When you make a new Amazon account you use the same name and credit card for purchases? If not then how do you pay for purchases, get a new card?
Anyway, aren't you worried about run ins with the law when doing like name changes and all sorts of funky stuff with stealth accounts.
I mean, if you annoy somebody can't they just come down hard on you. All that stuff can be prosecuted under "Wire Fraud" right? That has harsh penalties.
I'm thinking some of the practices are kind grey but become completely black once you annoy the wrong person.
The answer is No.
We aren't lying about anything when creating stealth accounts. We have a holding llc that has llcs underneath it. We're then providing a working tax # per llc. So we're not pretending to be anyone else, we're just under a business # which is under our name. Paypal/eBay don't link the two.
We don't recommend going stealth unless you have too. Not due to legal issues. Mostly due to the low selling limits you start off with (5 items) and the $850 fee it takes to register an llc. Stealth is a long term investment. I believe if you lie about who you are/provide a fake ssn it is a felony.
Hope this helps bud.
Cheers!
This is awesome that you are doing this, I want to thank you in advance.
Anyways, I tried drop shipping about a year ago but eventually gave up. Super embarrassing but I found the method I followed on Warrior Forum (I didn't know any better!) and followed it for about 4 months. It got more and more intense each month and on the final "phase" I found myself downloading and purchasing fucking terrible software that was designed to check for price fluctuations as well as act as a mass poster.
The posting didn't look good, like at all, and the price fluctuations were too much to keep up with and the software did a terrible job of fixing the issues that came up. I ended up getting banned because of all my cancelled orders due to the software not picking up on price changes on Amazon and me not being willing to constantly take huge hits.
ANYWAYS, thought that info may be valuable for my questions, as I would LOVE to get back into this.
1. About how much do you pay for your software and what is it doing for you?
2. How much time a day do you spend monitoring your prices, adding new products, shipping, etc etc. And how has your time commitment with this business grown or rose as the demand has?
3. When did you make the upgrade to a premium store? Another issue I had is I was getting destroyed by eBay fees.
Yea that's perfect. I actually figured that might be the case. I understand that to scale you need LLCs and also there is plenty of accounting to be done.
Regarding accounting and all that. When paying tax. You can write off the listing fees and stuff as expense right? Do you need to charge sales tax on your items in Ebay? Because in the UK we have VAT which is similar to Sales Tax in US. If you trade above a certain amount of revenue you, you must register and charge VAT. That would seriously break the model I think.
Thanks.
Ah I saw your banner signature in another thread....
You're selling a eBay dropshipping course, hence the no response to that question and reason for creating this thread.
Makes sense now
What shop level do you guys usually run with on eBay?
What level of customisation do you have for each store/listing? Do you use nice templates, customer service number email to business name domain, store logo etc?
How much of a requirement are those things and how effective are they vs not having them?
Thanks.
I'm assuming you guys do not drop ship from solely Amazon correct? I am looking into drop shipping from AliExpress, as they have a TON of items that would be perfect for my niche eBay store and website. My issue right now is if AliExpress orders provide some sort of invoice that would give me away, and that you cannot easily save pictures off of aliexpress. Thanks again, you guys are legends
