Yesterday, Facebook charged me $6 for 500 impressions that lead to 1 click so, basically, i paid $6 for 1 click(in gaming niche).

    1. What OBJECTIVE shud i choose while running Facebook ad for my CPA offers?
I choose to get CONVERSION as my objective...and pay per impression as payment method.

    AND

    2. What leads to cheaper clicks....broad audience(1 million+ target) or narrow audience(less than 10,000 target).?

0.2% CTR is definitely poor targeting! Test different targeting options to see what works best.
Have you set up pixel for conversion optimization?

If you're not an affiliate and your app is in the app store, then run "app installs" campaign.

Then how do you expect to have conversions with a conversion campaign if you don't have the pixel installed. Please read some basic information about FB Ads and stop all campaigns now. After you know the basics you can start with installing the pixel, creating some traffic or PPE ads to train the pixel what to target before starting conversion ads.

You can set to get charged per Link click. At least thats what i do. Only get charged when the link is clicked.

I am not an expert in Facebook ads but I have also been running some campaigns myself and here are some of my thoughts. I tried their Conversions objective and I personally didn't like it. Conversions objective doesn't give you the option to pay per click and you can only pay per impression. In the end, they charged me £4.92 for 1,827 impression. Thats £2.69 per 1000 impressions. I got 3 clicks so that costed £1.64 per click. Conversion rate was 0%. I also ran their traffic objective campaign, this time the pay per click option was available so I went for that. This time they charged me £26.77 for 71 clicks which is £0.38 per click. I got 23970 impressions which £1.12 per 1000 impressions. Conversion rate was also 0% but I have since optimized my campaign using demographics and placement so lets see if I will get some conversions. Clearly the traffic objective was cheaper for me and it guarantees clicks since you are only charged per click so even if you don't get an conversions, you can at least get a few visitors to your site.

It depends on what offers you're promoting for CPA. If the end result is purchasing then you have to run a conversion campaign, since FB will show your ads to show your ads to people that most likely to make purchases through FB but it's more expensive since FB will be charging by impression. For other offers, running the Traffic campaign is fine and a lot cheaper.

At the end of the day, the most important is your target audience and creatives, you have to split test first.

Your CTR isn't great. Work on targeting and your ads.

If you want conversions, choose conversion objective. Clicks will get you cheaper traffic, but lower quality. Not always, but in my experience, 80% of the time.

    make sure of 3 things
    1. choose traffic since its what you need
    2. the ad picture must be catchy to get clicks
    3. THE TARGETTING ( make sure you target the right people not random ).
i wish you best of luck
