Awesome! Binge read it.

You're on the right path. Keep outreaching for links!

I know it can be really hard at first.

What I do is:

Make some tool, do a data study with a lot of graphs to get more links. News sites look for these data things all the time.

Get a few guest posts on these news sites. You will notice that you will get a good number of links from other sites too. Just a tip to score more links :)

What plugin did you use? I checked the @Festinger vault and I couldn't;t find the scheme pro you mentioned?

UPDATE #7

No sales on this site since August 14th. Which is when I changed over to the AAWP plugin and shortlinks. I am registering a mega ton of clicks to Amazon though. So, I am wondering if it's something in the way I have the plugin set up. I think it sets automatically to add to cart if someone clicks the link. If so, that may be the problem - maybe I should investigate the settings and see if I can change that to just go to the product instead.

I also have been on a mission of adding great content to the site and added an about me page, and another 8000 word of content over the weekend last weekend. My ranking on Google had been steadily climbing for well over a month to 45.1 with small additions in content as noted in the prior updates. So, in order to get more credibility with google I did the about me,
added another couple of reviews, etc. So when the website was taking a bit of a dip last Thursday and Friday, I was a bit bummed but not so much so as to be worried. It takes small bumps all the time. I added the content on Saturday and
added my nice images I had created for it all. Then I submitted a few URLS through the Google URL Inspection Tool and hoped for the best.

Here's what happened:

My sites ranking plummeted into the 60's overnight.

I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT!

AtSOTCZ

I was in the middle of adding more content on Sunday when I just thought, well let me check console.

AND I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT!!

Immediately a mega shit ton of things blew threw my mind. Had I pissed of the Great And Powerful Google and they tanked
my site? HOLY FUCK WHAT DO I DO NOW???

After I calmed down a bit, I started looking to see what ranking had changed for the worse. I was looking for the keywords to the content I just published. NADA.

I looked at the rankings of keywords prior to content addition compared to after content addition and realized that most had improved so WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK???

Turns out that all that content added and having it inspected by Google was Good and Bad at the same time.

I got picked up OVERNIGHT for over 200 new keywords (short and longtail) and a good bit of those rankings had in fact come in at over 100. Strangely enough though, alot had come in the TOP 40.

I reached out to my Mentor and asked his thoughts on it all and after looking at everything on Tuesday he confirmed my suspicions. He definitely advises AGAINST submitting more than 1 URL to Google at a time for re-indexing. Also, he told me that the other content that I added on Sunday shouldn't be published for a few days to let things settle a bit. I had kept everything in draft just in case.

So Lesson Learned - Don't give Google too much info at one time. I'm sure it would have been ok if I had done this a
few months ago when I started the site - as that's exactly what i did do - add a lot of content in a short time frame.

I had been adding content in large amounts, just not quite like this. So I will have to remember to pace myself with
automatic posting IE setting posts to publish at certain times rather than just hitting publish now.

As you can see it did bounce back up thank you Google God - LOL not quite as high as before but there is a reason for that.

Prior to new content:

Keywords Ranking for: 757
1-10: 20
11-20: 15
21-40: 30

Since Content Added:

Keywords Ranking for: 938
1-10: 25
11-20: 32
21-40: 81

Great going and thanks a lot for all the information. I would make sure that I submit URL's steadily. This information was totally new to me!

kindly show me the money , show me the money !

Went back through the thread and realized I missed some questions and posts.

So Sorry for the LATE REPLY

''So I was looking for a way out and tried many things over the course of 5 years and lost my proverbial ass in all of them. So about $50k invested and nothing to show for it''
Could you elaborate more on this if you want to ? was this in internet marketing businesses? E-commerce?

I also would really like to know why you choose this specific business model over 10's of others that can also be profitable.

I tried doing CPA through Instagram - Never realized that you have to start with an account that has a huge following plus probably a website to back it all up.

I tried MLM and absolutely hated it. I thought it was just me but, I tried like 4 different ones and hated it. Plus I sucked at it too.

I got into domaining for a bit - I still have like 200 domain names at the moment. I took a course on that and buying websites.

I tried affiliate marketing - again you need to groom a huge onine presence through social media, websites, etc. I even went to some big
marketing conventions. I liked it OK I guess, I just didn't have the following or email list needed. So that is something to cultivate over time.

I researched FBA and Dropshipping because I like the model but didn't have the money to pursue.

T-shirt printing. Nuf said.

I purchased a mega shit ton of training and software. I shouldn't have done because being completely new, I didn't know how to use the
software. So I could have saved some money except for being gungho and the trainers want you to have their particular software, etc. because they are familiar with it, own it or are affiliated for it. Most of the training was not complete. I think they cover theory more than hands on in most cases. So lots of stuff left out and you have to try to figure it out on your own. Having no technical or marketing experience, I was kinda screwed.

In retrospect, I would have been better off to get one cohesive training course from A-Z on one type of business instead of trying to figure out how to cobble together 10 different things like different social media channels, cpa, affiliate, etc.

I started Amazon sites because its something that I kept coming back to, and always liked the idea of owning websites.

Awesome thread man, I am doing a journey! keeping me motivated? How old is your site? how many words so far?

Started the site March 13, 2019. Right now I has 36 pieces of content. I know that sounds pretty measely. It takes me a lot of time to
find the right stuff to put on there and write about.

I wanted to ask.. maybe you mentioned it, but I didnt came across..

Do you do any link building or you are solely focused on writing good content?

This is one hell of a brilliant journey! Following this and hope to see your site going from strength to strength.
