Hi fellow Digital Nomads,

I'm stuck in between starting an affiliate site with Amazon or going the dropshipping route. I know Amazon cut their commissions rates, so I'm a little skeptical going with them, but I know the large traffic they bring in. I was wondering what your thoughts and experience with Amazon Affiliates & Dropshipping are? Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

Better go for Amazon affiliate website.

I do not think supply chain is still back to normal for drop shipping.

Amazon's commission rate is pretty much the standard rate any big retailer has. Don't let all the whiners who know nothing confuse you. The only difference is Amazon converts like crazy. If you can get users to click through to Amazon you will get easy sales.

I would wait on dropshipping until flights go back to normal. I have four shipments that has been sitting at the Guangzhou airport for about a month already. Just waiting to get on a plane i guess.

Create multiple income sources from both, you can have a dropshipping store and a website with amazon affiliates.

After a while you can sell your dropshipping site at Shopify Exchange, Empire Flippers, etc and start your work again...I see no reason to choose just one option

Start with Amazon affiliate site and when you will get some positive results then you can create another site for Dropshipping.
