Ahref Temporary link 307 meaning

Hi,

I was just checking my site in ahref (The Best Pages by Incoming Links) this section so i noticed its showing 307 redirection for some of my pages.

Can you please tell me what is this and is it a big issue. Somehow i checked in google but didn't get many ideas.

307 is the HTTP status code for a temporary redirect, just like a 302, but a bit more strict. it was introduced with HTTP/1.1
the main difference is that the HTTP request method remains unchanged when issuing a 307 redirect.
for example if the request method is POST, it will stay POST.
with 302/303 redirects browsers and other clients change POST requests to GET for the destination URL as they assume that the server received the POST data already and can continue with a GET.

so that being said, a "temporary redirect" says that a URL is temporarely available at a new location, but will later be back on the original URL.

307 Temporary Redirect message is an HTTP response status code indicating that the requested resource has been temporarily moved to another URI , as indicated by the special Location header returned within the response.

but i didnt do any redirection so how come its showing ?

maybe you have some plugin (if its wordpress or other CMS) that does internal redirects?
otherwise it can be from external links

Hi,

I have the same problem with Ahrefs new "Webmaster Tool".
When I start a crawl, Ahrefs find 307 on random Urls.

Did you find a reason to your 307 ?

Check all ur external and internal links and yes images links too.
Every link working properly or not ?
For me it was "This redirection is made by the integrated DDoS protection system."
I guess because of my hosting and for you its depend but don't worry it wont affect SEO

Thanks for your answer Jiya. Indeed it was the same problem for me.
I've found that It's my hosting company which send 307 to Ahrefs bot because they find their bot is crawling too much.

Unfortunately, I cannot use the Ahrefs Webmaster tool with this hosting.

Hi,
U can use and can check the other data.
There is nothing wrong with AWT. It's just for security I guess.
So use and check the analysis report. I am using the same and AWT working good
