If you type the term "white shirts" on Google UK the fourth result is a video from Thomas Pink going back to their contentless webpage and that video. Now my question is how is Google picking up this video and showing it in the Serps with that webpage and other sites that have videos on etc are not being shown in serps?

That's quite a aged site and i have seen video on that page only. Also, google can give importance to the pages because of many different metric.
