Ideally, you would recreate the (old) pages on the new site, so that when you 301 redirect the pages, they are considerably less likely to be flagged.

I have a blog I want to add links to but via 301 with another blog

Yes it is related. So what do suggest?

The safest and longest-lasting option is to build a full website on the expired domain, with relevant pages to link to on your new site.

For example, a page about apples on your money site could be linked from your expired domain if you create a page about apples (on your expired domain) and add a contextual link. Essentially, it would be a PBN website, not a 301 redirect.
