Ok, so I bought this domain a while ago, xxxxxxxxxxxx.watch
There are 9 categories and every category has approx 3-4 articles
each one is shared across different social media platforms
the DA = 17 and PA varies from 9 to 16 of all the posts.
Site is built on wordpress, basic SEO with yoast is done
Sitemap, analytics, webmaster for Google, Bing, Yandex everything is setup
Although I submitted the website to bing and yandex a few days ago, I don't expect anything to show up there but its been 2 months or probably a little more, not even 1 page has been indexed by Google, Can you believe that?
Google Webmaster shows that the site is submitted successfully, No visible errors encountered so far. As far as I have checked, nothing is wrong with search console or settings yet, not ONE page is indexed.

Any idea, why is this stuck?
Is this due to a weird domain name?
any suggestions or feedback will be much appreciated.

Thanks
Stencil

Am having the same problem

Possible reason -- The domain could have spam to death ( Did you do wayback check ? ) & reviving might need sledge from THOR

Moreover -- XXXXXX sound Porn'ish :confused::confused:

hahaha... XXXXX is a variable in this case.
The domain is new, 2-2.5months old, 1st owner!
No spammy links were built. To be honest I don't even have enough time to work on this. Its sort of a pet project. But this ignorance from Google hurts more than that of my girlfriend's :(

Maybe this domain got deindexed & penalized. Then the owner let it drop and here we are.

2 months is enough time to index your site
That's what I thought. 2 months is plenty.
I just took advice from @Bartolomeo and checked for penalties. Turns out, its penalized for content. I basically copied content from here and there, gave it a spin and pasted it on my site.

Glad I could help

It's not actually about you building links - The comment below tells more of what am talking about...

yeah, like I said, I f**ked up. I used spun content, didn't care to check with copyscape.
That's why it's penalized and hasn't indexed. Now I think I'll have to redo the writing part from fresh

No, You still not getting it --- Did you make wayback check of the domain to see if it's been used for farm links/PBN and get deindexed by google before you picking it up?

Insert your domain here: http://archive.org/web/

Check to see if there is anything suspicious in the domain history..
