Tanner fox who is a YouTuber, never heard of him before today but his video was trending and the title caught my eye. He made a vlog of him buying a GTR, and I guess he is 16 years old.

I really wish I would of started a YouTube channel when I was younger like 12 years old. It wasn't around when I was that young but I think I'd make my kids make videos when they are young. By the time they are 16 like this kid they could be set for life and say fuck college.

YouTube is a crazy ass platform if done right. I have some size able Instagram accounts when the hell is Instagram going to allow me to collect ad revenue.

To live off YouTube and make decent money out of it is VERY hard, chances of that are super low. I used to be partnered with Fullscreen doing gaming videos and those fuckers barely paid me, with the money couldn't even buy a burger at McDonalds in the first months...

Who can actually know if he bought that GTR for real?

Youtubers would do anything for views to be honest.

You'd be amazed how many "rich" people don't even own their houses or cars and actually just rent them to show them off.
99% of those "Buy my 5 step book to be a millionaire like me" people don't even own the shoes they wear.
It's all to boost about how "successful" they are.
Making a down payment on a 55k car isn't anything near to being "set for life".
Not even if you live in a 3rd world country, being alive for 80+ years gets expensive.

It was a private sale and if it's in future videos chances are it's legit. I understand what your saying but he has like 1.5 million subs and gets 500-800k views Ina 24 hour period on his vlogs. More than likely it's legit. I understand what your saying but regardless the kid is making crazy money. I'd be nervous tho living off YouTube what happens if tomorrow YouTube gets bought out and they change their policies or if your forget your password to your account or your channel gets deleted

That's a naive mindset to have. Sure, you might get a following but don't expect it to last too long or be able to scale up well. Build up your knowledge, bank on these opportunities when you get them and move on.

Well when your 16 and have a car that cost more like 65-70k used you probably are set for life. Obviously he still has to work and do YouTube but he is going to have YouTube forever and his channel will only get bigger. And he cans tart appearing in movies so he is kind of set for life.

College is retarded man, yeah you can make a good living if you go to college you can also be working for close to minimum wage. And then most people are hundreds of thousand in debt or close to it. College is a scam, a lot of shit in college you learn you don't use and or can be self taught or trained to do on the job. My cousin is an engineer graduated 3 years ago and he said college didn't do nothing it just got him the job. They had to train him how to do everything and what the Compny wanted. Unless you want to be a lawyer or doctor all the big money is in starting your own business or in the entertainment business.

Sorry to dissapoint, but the average youtuber's lifespan is of 5 years.
I even have a friend that got kinda big (half a million subs) His videos used to reach 1 million views at his peak, how he's lucky if he gets 20,000 views. And it just keeps decreasing and decreasing, and the same happens to 90% of channels.

That's only if a Youtuber doesn't have an idea of how to run a YT channel. You have to keep it entertaining and spice it up. Grow other channels. Work on other social media platforms and connect them all together. Reinvest the money you make into growing your channel even further. Give people reasons to flock to your channel, stand out more and more.

It's 80% luck and 20% effort. In some business you will succeed, others will fail. I experienced this so many times. When I had a great idea, it totally didn't work out. Now I have after trying, failing and succeeding a good running company with long term strategy. A Youtuber won't last for like 10 years with this business. I mean: 10 years ago we all played Runescape and watched those vids on youtube. Now are those views huge dropped. Don't watch those vids too much otherwise you will get huge demotivated. Ofcourse the Kid is doing a great job, but I have no reason to be jealous...
