Yes, it will. But, don't count on earning a lot (at least from my experience, that blogspot.com subdomain affects psychologically). A custom domain is always useful. If done properly, you would get back the investment you make on the domain and hosting) within a matter of few days.

Indeed, custom domains are almost always superior, but Blogger can be pretty effective on Pinterest due to the fact that a huge number of established fashion/food blogs are actually on blogspot domains. If you're heavily involved in the fashion/food niches, you'll come across them frequently, so Pinterest users are probably not as put off by such domains as the general public.
