My 2026 YouTube Journey – Road to $30K a Month + Setup Automation

What's up BHW. Happy New Year! I will go even harder in 2026.
My main channel has over 150,000 subscribers and 3-4 digits monthly income.

Now that the first day of the year has begun, I already structured some of my plan.
In order to push myself and keep working on it for the next 365 days, I will keep you posted weekly.

MAIN GOALS:
  1. Create 3 more similar channels to spread revenue.
  2. Five digits monthly income – ideally $30K a month (my current target)
  3. Automate most of the processes (creating and uploading)
Quick note: I have a backup channel that's already monetized, same niche as the main channel.
This one will be the foundation for my next moves – the best video has 1M+ views.

Ai & TOOLS: Some of these tools will help me to automate the video creation and upload process.
Even tho for my niche I will need some other stuff as well. Little share to make this read beneficial for you.

IFTTT – automatically share new YouTube uploads to all social networks.
FFmpeg – free video compilation, logo overlay, and phonk filter effects.
Python scripts – free batch processing and workflow automation.
Pipedream – free tier automation for YouTube uploads and metadata generation.
YouTube Data API – free automated uploads, descriptions, titles, and publishing.
ChatGPT API – $5-20/month for AI-generated titles, descriptions, and keywords.
n8n (self-hosted) – free alternative to Make.com for visual workflow automation.
Google Gemini – For realistic and high quality AI video generation

Ask me questions about YouTube and any niche. I will do my best to answer it. I will keep my niche private,
so all I am writing here is my own experience and knowledge, shared to inspire you and find your own ways to print more money while sleeping.

A lover of Wojaks! a man after my own heart... lol :) All the best.

Do your videos need scripts? If so, which AI do you use to write them?

Facts. You really gotta love what you do! Thanks man.

Do your videos need scripts? If so, which AI do you use to write them?
No, my videos do not need scripts. For that matter you can use ChatGPT or Claude. I combine two niches together and use complete videos from YouTube to produce something unique for myself. of course only if I have the agreement of the other channel.

bro, I have resource video in niche dance cover include shorts-form and long-form(2-5 min). but almost video using kpop music. I upload it to channel but the views is not good. do you have any advice?

What were the main things you were looking for when searching for a niche, and what was your process for finding this niche?
After deciding on the niche, what was your goal with the channel? (Like, post X videos per week, X shorts, etc.)

Good luck, mate. I’ll be following your journey, as I’m already working on mine too. Once it works, I’ll share it as well. Wishing you all the best.

Good luck! A question, for someone starting in the yt industry would you recommand starting fresh with a new google account or buying an old one? Is so what specs should it have? maybe a channel with several videos already uploaded? Thanks

Good luck, looking forward to see a solid journey in 2026, I hope it's this one

I am planning to start YouTube this year. Where should I focus, only shorts, only long-form videos or both? Please tell me

Your insights are truly engaging, and I am also beginning this journey. Is Veo3 required for generation, and if so, what is the API pricing structure?

150k subs + already cashflowing is solid base - scaling to 30k is less about more channels and more about tightening the pipeline. Biggest bottleneck I see in these setups is upload + reuse patterns getting too similar - that is where channels get soft capped. I run cron based upload flows with randomized metadata blocks + staggered schedules per channel so algo sees them as independent ops, not clones. If you lock that + keep testing hooks on shorts first, longform follows way faster. Good luck bro!

Increase lenght & watchtime of your video and create backlinks. Make sure you send traffic from other platforms to your new videos. This will help to trigger the algorithm.

What were the main things you were looking for when searching for a niche, and what was your process for finding this niche?
After deciding on the niche, what was your goal with the channel? (Like, post X videos per week, X shorts, etc.)
I wasn't even looking for a niche. I was simply doing what I love and somehow ended up doing the right thing after hundreds of trials and errors.
My recommendation for you to pick a solid niche is this: Find something you like, see if that niche has huge traffic, if so, find the best youtube channels within this niche.
Now you can try producing almost identical / upgraded content.

Good luck, mate. I’ll be following your journey, as I’m already working on mine too. Once it works, I’ll share it as well. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks brother! Wishing you all the best as well. Stay on it! Upload every week.

Good luck! A question, for someone starting in the yt industry would you recommand starting fresh with a new google account or buying an old one? Is so what specs should it have? maybe a channel with several videos already uploaded? Thanks
Age of a Google account matters, yeah. Not so much but it directly proofs that you are a human. For example, your shopping behaviour or anything related to consuming will be tracked by Google. So they definitely know wether you are a real human or just a fresh account created by a bot. In my opinion it can help to use a old YouTube channel. I always do that. I got some from 2011 I never used. You can ask friends or family if you don't have a old gmail yourself. They don't need to give you the email access they can simply give owner rights to their youtube channel. Views or Videos do not matter. Unless you have a verified channel, that ofc can change a lot.

Good luck, looking forward to see a solid journey in 2026, I hope it's this one
Thanks! Hope so too lmao. I gotta get my ass up and grind even harder than the past decade.

Good luck, is this a long video or a short video?
It was short content, I figured longer videos work better so I changed it. Mainly 30-60min videos with 4K and original content. No AI used.

I am planning to start YouTube this year. Where should I focus, only shorts, only long-form videos or both? Please tell me
That sounds like a plan already! My suggestion: focus on long-form videos, always! You can use shorts to promote your 16:9 videos.

Your insights are truly engaging, and I am also beginning this journey. Is Veo3 required for generation, and if so, what is the API pricing structure?
Glad you enjoying it! Really helps to inspire yourself sometimes. The videos are 4K and 100% original content. No AI used. I just tried out Veo3, very limited on the pro version, I fear it's too expensive in the beginning. Wouldn't recommend. Try to minimize your expanses and keep it as low as possible.

150k subs + already cashflowing is solid base - scaling to 30k is less about more channels and more about tightening the pipeline. That's some serious elite ball knowledge right here! Appreciate you for explaining! Yeah I think you are right, especially because my main channel is verified, has a fanbase and the algorithm sends more traffic. My latest video got 17K views, I need to push that number. Other videos are growing quite well. If I see success in one format I transform it into a series and create endless videos (all unique but same topic)

Good luck and keep going! Seems like you are very experienced guy in the youtube area.
My advantage is that I grew up with YouTube and already had my first channel by the age of 12. All the knowledge comes from endless hours of not knowing how the platform works but still trying and producing thousand of videos and different channels until it finally did work out. Try yourself in all sorts of niches see what fits you well and at some point YouTube might become your game instead of being just a platform with too many settings to understand. SEO is important, visuals are important, your community is too. Brand a channel like a REAL brand / company and you will see success sooner or later.
