Hi BHW – I consider myself as YouTube expert and will answer all of your questions.

Before you ask me anything, let me say this... over half a year ago I got heavily blessed: my old channel with 150K+ subs from 7 years ago got revived.

So the journey began... once again! Of course, after all these years my channel's community was dead. People outgrown the content.
I had to come up with a new Plan. Meaning; slightly different content and also to reach the new generation.

You can read about my question, which turned into a journey right here:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/i...-years-how-to-bring-back-the-traffic.1643586/

How it's going? The channel's revenue went 100x in just a few months. A SUCCESS!
Was it a sweat? Yes. But not as hard as working inside a kitchen. Barely invested any time for the outcome.

Now please, go ahead and ask me anything about YouTube, Marketing, SEO, setting up a channel, what to avoid and so on.
– it's a pleasure to share my knowledge with any of you seeking for valuable information inside the BlackHatWorld forum.

How would you go about hiring video editors and content manager. I mean script and voiceover can be done 100% with AI in current days so what else is left? Visuals + manager? Please share your process, what is fair pricing and some insights

That's a good one, glad you got your account back and are making the best of it, will be following as this looks pretty interesting already.

Very interesting !
Did you use any blackhat method ?
Yeah! The journey is unfolding good and bringing back some of that old magic!
No, I haven’t used any blackhat methods – YouTube SEO only. I created a few backlinks on social media and Discord, that’s it. What I did is, I updated the SEO for over 500 old videos and developed new concepts to feed the algorithm. After a few months, it paid off, YouTube started sending me millions of organic impressions. Some of the new videos went viral, and I turned each one into a series with endless episode potential. The real game-changer for me was increasing the video length from just a few minutes to over 15 minutes.

Depends on your niche, some content requires real people and no AI can replace it yet. Other, faceless channels for example can be setup and run 100% automatically.
To be honest with you, I prefer to make it all happen by myself, because nobody can turn my own vision into reality. I keep it old school and edit the videos with Premiere Pro.
Once the channel is really profitable I might outsource professional editors or pay somebody on fiverr to create a bunch of videos for a brand new experimental channel.
So far, not needed. The amount YouTube pays you is way more than working a small job. So why not invest some hours yourself to see the $$$ -> $$$$ -> $$$$$ -> $$$$$$

Thank you! Definitely made the impossible happen, the channel was reactivated just one day before it would have been permanently deleted from the system. Big W!

Throughout the years, I’ve gathered so much experience with YouTube that now, as an adult, I have a really clear vision of it. I’ve thought about creating a course or masterclass, yet I’m not a fan of people charging others for knowledge without delivering real value. So, while it might be something I consider in the future, it would need to be carefully planned. with genuine guidance, showing how to succeed in a specific niche by following my steps 1:1.

OP what niche cant be outsourced to AI? In the context of script writing. My opinion is that AI is doing far better than the average Indian freelancer and etc... spice it up with some vector database and RAG and voila - you have a really solid video prompt be it for 5 , 10 or 15 minutes. only for the fraction of the cost + never gets tired. Lets start a debate on this :) I am totally on AI side

Great question, and I do agree with what you say. That's why I handle all of the postproduction myself. I barely need any AI tools unless it's for automations, like sharing my new videos to facebook, twitter etc. Combining the right tools is all it takes. I recommend you to watch this video:

How can I increase my YouTube subscribers? Is there any good way?

wow, this is amazing...we are going through the journey of reviving our accounts as well!! will share the results. and yes you have taken the right steps to revive tan old channel by switching to the current trending content. How long did it take to revive this channel?

I make videos close to my best competitors, but even the channels that produce content worse than me are watched thousands of times, but I can't be watched at all. What do you suggest I do about long videos. Can it work if I support my content with short videos?

Yes, high quality and authentic content is the solution. Focus on viral content, if you are small, start by reproducing either stories or content of influencers, celebrities, musicians.
This way you can attract a fanbase which already exists and drive it towards your own channel. Also, focusing on current or upcoming trends, news, potential viral stories is the solution to gain subscribers fast. I got some videos uploaded only for the sake of building traffic. What I am saying, sometimes it's worth to forget about monetization as long as the other party allows you to reproduce/reuse their content.

Thanks! Wishing you all the best, remember, consistency is key on YouTube. It took me 6 months to revive the channel, but to be honest with you, I wasn't invested enough in the beginning, so actually it could have taken me 1 month.

You should max out your: SEO, descriptions, tags (channel and videos), subtitles, different languages, better thumbnails, + open every video with a hook (the best part of the video or something that catches attention even without the sound. What worked for me was changing from 2-5min content to 15-60min content.

The difference between editing a video for 1-2 days vs editing only 1 hour:

Video Nr.1 – is most likely going above 100K views within 4 weeks and keeps growing (dropping one of these every 2-4 weeks) (15-60min video length)

Video Nr.2 – is gaining maybe 5K-15K views and stops growing. (around 5min video length) (only dropping if I got no other option/delaying a planned project)

Always make sure to be better than your OPs, so level up your skills, your channel, and use social media to drive traffic from niche related groups, forums, ads, posts and more.
Hope that helps you on the journey!

That’s incredible, your channel’s comeback is inspiring!

Can regularly publishing content, even if it is poor quality, increase the likelihood of being viewed?
