Hey im new to this fourm and I have recently been pretty interested in starting some kind of Instagram dropshipping method. Over the last week I have been researching a lot and I think I have finally put together a basic understanding of what I need to do. The only problem is money because I am only 18 years old and work as a pizza delivery guy part time (I am not looking for a free method just an inexpensive one that works).

Anyways here is a chart of what I have put together so far

So basically I only have a few missing pieces that I am not to sure about

I dont really know how to collect emails from my website yet.

I signed up on bluehost because it wasn't to expensive and you get a free domain. Blue host says I get like 250mb of emails, but I dont really know what that means. Im not sure if I have to get some sort of program or plugin to collect/schedule emails. (Ive heard something about woo commerce mailchimp doing stuff like that?)

Aliexpress/dropshipping is kind of spooky?

I guess if a customer receives a broken product I will just send them another one for free instead of them returning it (seems like a big inconvenience to send product back).
Shipping times are huge, but I think alidropship uses epacket (not entirely sure what epacket really is) so I get a few days off shipping + free shipping maybe?

Hopefully my IG accounts dont get banned randomly?

I only plan on having two Instagram accounts for now and running them both on Instagress. I dont think they will get banned but its still spooky? Both accounts will have my website link in them possibly to different pages on the website. Do you think I could make some decent sales starting with 2000 followers on each account?
Im sure I have more questions I cant think of right now, but I am wondering if anyone has any luck with a similar method (shopify instagram methods seem super common). Does anyone have any suggestions for someone leaning toward the wordpress woocommerce alixpress side of things? What should I watch out for? What should I make sure I do? Advice in general?

Anyways thanks a bunch, so far I am loving this forum!

I tried this method and failed. I think my failure was mostly due to my niche.

1) If you go the Shopify route, there are simple plugins that you can get on your site to collect emails. Give away a discount code in exchange for their email (there's also a plugin for discount codes).

2) Depends on your product/margins if it's worth returning the product or just sending another one.

3) I had 3 IG accounts related to my niche. One account had 2.4k followers, another 1.5k followers and the third 1k followers. I made a few daily clicks to website, a few add to carts but zero sales. Make sure your niche is very good and make sure your IG audience is willing to funnel through IG, to your site and ultimately willing to buy your products.

The inbox you have is ok, just empty it regularly. If your using WordPress there are lots of plugins for getting emails and they're free. Shopify charges so think how your budget is affected and your profit margin. I use woocommerce, so much better and free

Yeah I'm kind of worried I might not sell like anything, but at the same time I'm pretty confident in my design skills and niche. As long as I can build up people who want to buy I'll get sales

Do your mean the email storage on blue host? I am still learning how to build a simple website so I don't really know how to set up n that stuff yet.

Also yeah I was originally going to use shopify and that automatic order plugin but it would cost me like $45 a month which is a bit pricy when I have virtually no experience in dropshiping and email marketing. And it seems like I can get basically the same result with just a little more work with WordPress and woo commerce for only a few dollars a month.

Yes, your host gives you a certain inbox size, for example 250mb. If you have a limited budget and are just starting out then woocommerce and WordPress are free.
