ok, so here are my 2 cent. I want to believe that I have above average experience with Instagram, have been reading through BHW quite a bit and am familiar with most techniques around. I've only read the book so far, so this doesn't apply to the forum (where I am hoping most of the value comes from).
Pros:
- It's an easy and entertaining read. I read it in one setting and took some notes on the side.
- Found some useful tips, especially the 1-2 punch method. Will be trying this going forward (perhaps you're full of shit and this doesn't work at all but it sounds like an interesting strategy)
- If you're a newbie, I think this is a pretty good summary and will save you some time of going through the entire BHW forum for days. They say time is money, so there is your value, on the other hand, I feel that I lot of people here are still in school, so maybe the opportunity cost isn't that high
Cons:
- Did I learn anything groundbreaking & new? Not really but then again, maybe I'm not the perfect audience
- Is there some fluff in the book? Sure although it was bareable
- Did you brag a bit about your success? Yes somewhat but you managed to grow to a few million followers and you're young, so maybe no surprise here
I do have a few critique points:
- As you say, the first 15k followers take a lot of time build and only after will you get real traction. You provide schedules on how to increase your daily activity but later contradict yourself by stating that new accounts need to be warmed up and you actually need to be slower. Either be up front and state that you start with older accounts that you bought because you definitely cannot do that with brand new ones. Hence, I am seriously doubtful that you can get to a million followers within a year, starting off with a brand new account. If you exactly follow your strategy from day one, then you will have a high chance of getting banned. I think this should be highlighted better.
- I'm also slightly critical of the follow back ratios but again, I haven't tested it yet, so we'll have to see
- I also strongly disagree with your statement on how white hat methods are always better than grey hat methods. If you are doing exactly the same thing through automation, you're an IDIOT for wasting hours every day to manually follow & like people. It also basically means that you cannot grow several accounts simultaneously because of time.
I paid $27 for the book. What do I think it's worth, probably half (if you're a newbie or highly value your time, it's probably worth more). So I'm hoping that the forum will provide more answers to advanced themes.
Thanks for your comments and critique! You went in-detail with a lot of things, and I greatly appreciate that! This is what will continue to make Gramous a breathing, living eBook! I will surely take what you just said in consideration when I make future improvements to Gramous.
I'd like to hit on your critiques briefly:
1. I understand the confusion about warming up the accounts & the ratio cycle. The schedule I provided was a manual, already "warmed-up" account following a small amount of users (400 highly targeted users). With the methods provided in the eBook, assuming good content, following 400 people manually with the tactics I suggested should be able to obtain 300 followbacks - and that's pretty conservative. And obviously, with automation software, you can blow this up to 600-700 follows and receive 200-350 followers pretty easily. My method for follow/unfollow has been very effective opposed to what you see everywhere else.
2. Never underestimate a trained eye and manual labor!
If you are automating, it's obviously going to be unrealistic to achieve those type of numbers. Like mentioned already earlier in this thread, I focus on a lot of whitehat themes with grey hat interactions sprinkled in the eBook & more heavily discussed in the forum.
3. So, if it was simple tasks, I'd agree with you that automating is better than manual; however, even highly tuned automation software struggles in comparison to a human when it comes to complex tasks. For the most part, the automation software is catching up to replicating real life activity. Is it better? No. Is it faster & the obvious choice for most? Yes. I understand where you are coming from, but I think manually doing something is going to give you better results, it just won't be faster or more time efficient.

I don't want people purchasing Gramous who don't need to purchase Gramous, and I want people purchasing Gramous who need it! And frankly, judging on the content that's offered in this forum and others like it, a lot of people need Gramous!
