Totally agree. Cashvertising is a must read for sales copy person. like it much

It is contextual indeed, but then again, it contradicts the next psychological trigger: "Authority"

IMO, you can't have both at the same time, in other words, you can't really act inferior but authoritative at the same time, maybe you can act inferior but talk from the place of self-dignity, self-respect and self-confidence, but again, that is not authority.

When we are beeing authoritative we obviously position ourselves as "experts" in the field and we talk from a place of power. I don't think that we can do this while implying inferiority at the same time.

Just my opinion anyway...

Hey Avada,

The triggers don't all need to be used at the same time. Sure playing the inferior person contradicts being the authority but we don't have to invoke every single one of these triggers in our sales copy. Different weapons at different times.
Another point on that. As humans we are dynamic in how we put out information and also how we perceive it. I've used all these triggers in videos and copy and networking but very rarely have I used ALL OF THEM at one time. I mean damn...I like mustard and I like cereal too...I don't usually eat them together though lol.
