Well, using it is fairly simple. All you need to get started is just input a seed website where you want to look for expired domains and hit the start button. You don't need proxies or anything else for regular operations. You can configure the Free API of MOZ for getting basic stats of the domains. With default settings and on a decent seed list, we start getting domains within a few minutes and it keeps on increasing with time. Everybody and their dog has scraped Wikipedia. You have to be more creative than that and think about what your are doing.

Yes I know, but he also claims that after 15 mins you should see results, which was definitely not the case. I am asking for more info and tips on this software, since it seems to lack those.

It really depends on your seed domains. I'll give you an example: Starting with a seed of gnu.org, ietf.org & energystar.gov, after 12 hours, it got 1. On my previous run, which I started with a different seed (again just a few), it got ~40 in 12 hours.

Well I started with 5 seed domains that are specific to a niche, in 1 hour I had 20 and letting it run overnight I had 240. So it's possible , you just have to think about how to do it. It's not called the Magic Domain Shitter, it requires some thought and effort.

I was lucky to grab a review copy of domain lord, for past week I have been running my lists and my review is this is a great tool to have at one time buy price. The best thing about this tool is is it does not eat up a lot of memory. Scrapping as usual depends on the seeds list, So overall a nice tool to have if you are into expired domain scraping.
