I had another account, but that videos was on the account not in the channel. In those days I just posted those videos in profile without making channel.
The niche was MS Office. tutorials.

A- I am not expertise in reddit and buzzfeed area actually, I am more into G+, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Blogs
Sources? Well choose one social network, lets say instagram they have like 30 second videos now so you can use them to compile into one video by downloading whatever niche video you are doing. Or you can also go on YT search itself and download some and edit the best parts and re-upload them

A- Stick with one, you won't be able to handle both especially with YT and YT isn't as easy as IG. On IG you can do tricks and f4f , l4l but YT is one way communication from audience. But if you still want to try that out then here are some niche that might interest you.
1) Comedy (compilation of vines or IG videos or any magic tricks)
2) Pranks, social experiments
3) News ( Latest news that might go viral)
4) Sports
5) DIY videos ( If you are trying to make something by yourself)
Luxury niche won't help on YT so don't think about it. Good luck

A- Good luck and keep me posted about your success
Using grey hat methods is cool, because you just stick with white or black hat then it will either be slow or get you banned respectively.
But if you know how to use it then go ahead If you are confident that your contents are viral then just go for white hat and couple of times take up "rank your video" services that will boost your channel more.

Yes I seo my video. Onpage seo only. I named my video to my keyword. Title of my video with my keyword, description with keyword and tags with keyword. I also uploaded custom thumbnail which is catchy. I don't understand why other users set and forget their videos and get views without doing anything like posting to other sites.
