First domain you can get from godaddy- 0.99$ 1st year and 10-12$ 2nd year - you have to buy it for 2 years, otherwise go from namecheap.

Free hosting....

Maybe try 000webhost.

I'm not sure that you will be able to get domain with free hosting .. Unless you don't pay 30-40$ for the domain registration .

If you want free hosting for your blog you could register your domain and use blogspot.

I don't know link but recently I was read that name.com is running a happy hour and register domain at $0.99 but of-course next year they will charge higher amount. Namesilo is much better option and you can use free hosting of some reputed provider.

Think that it will be much better to pay some extra dollars for reliability and professionalism than to see your sites down with free web hosts.

congrats on getting your domain. Keep an eye out on renewal cost. You might be better off to xfer to a new provider before the renew date for less money.

I tried 000webhost.com but for a day just to see that it worked. I prefer paying for my hosting, as you probably understand why.

OP as all other member said you can buy a domain for $.99 from 1and1 or Godaddy. And i will suggest to use tumblr to host your domain. Its better than other free hosting i guess. FYI I didnt try it yet.

No but as far as i know you can add your custom domain at Tumblr. If you Google it you can get a lots of guide about it. Namecheap has their own blog post about how to set custom domain at tumblr. I need to try it soon.
