Domain provider with full PATH FORWARDING?

So, looks like I just wasted some money.

I bought a domain from Namesilo to redirect it to where my website is hosted. Just after the "3 days money back" were over, I found out, there's no way to have the url bar showing "http://www.xy.com/zz.html" when clicking "http://www.xy.com/zz.html" (only shows "http://www.xy.com").
Also, when I type in "http://www.xy.com/zz.html", it shows the hosts domain "http://www.xy.myhost98whatever.com/zz.html" (which I do not want to see there, ever).

Sucks, but now (i.e. when the damn 60 days are over) I need to transfer to another provider.

Do you know one that can do proper cloaking/forwarding/redirecting*, like the way it's supposed to work?
Or maybe just some terms I can google to find me a provider that got what I need?

It seems that your issue is more with the hosting than with the domain name, if the domain you bought appears as a sub domain, it means you are not paying for the hosting, or if you are paying you configurate it wrong.

I'm using a free host called byet.host. And Namesilo to cloak the ugly free domain I got from byet.host.
In my post, the example "http://www.XY.myhost98whatever.com/zz.html" also could have been "http://www.ABC.myhost98whatever.com/zz.html", so no, the domain doesn't appear as a sub domain.

Could it still have something to do with the hosting? If so, what would be typical terms in the settings section that I need to look out for?


This is from my conversation with the Namesilo support, after I contacted them with a detailed description of my problem.

Yeah, moral of the story, the 3 days money back guarantee was just over, so now im stuck for 60 god damn days with a site that I can use for barely shit ..
Only 3 days to figure out anything that could possibly be a major downside to a provider.. This is just cruel to someone buying their first domain, like myself.
How the fuck was I supposed to know that someone would even offer such a mostly-useless (or half-useful - what do I know) service?

Do I have any other options? Like are there different ways to forward, cloak, redirect or something?

Any help is highly appreciated!
