Absolutely brilliant! We'll have to add this to our playbook![]()
In reference to quadrupling price .. that's ridiculous Euphorix. You advised before not to raise the price.

Quadrupling the price instead of setting it to zero is not ridiculous. It's another sale in your pocket and gets you to having your Paypal holds lifted faster if someone should happen to buy the item. I got lucky and someone did, I was just mentioning it and that's all. No one here has to be snarky about it. Some folks are comfortable with having their software set their listing to zero and dealing with cancelling the order if someone buys the item before their software catches it. I am not.
I'm much more comfortable having my software automatically run for me every four hours and quadruple the price if Amazon runs out of stock. It's a lot easier to source your product from another online retailer when you have a nice profit to do it with.
I wasn't saying it was ridiculous in general. More that it was stupid that Euphorix agreed and said it was good. Wayyy back in this thread (I think) I proposed exactly what you did and he recommended not to do it. Basically, I was just saying he was giving conflicting advice.
If something works for you it is not ridiculous.
Couple questions,
First off when I try to sign up for pricematik it gives me an internal error or something?
But anyways if I'm using Hydra to post items and skugrid to monitor my items, what program would I use to fulfill and send out orders?
Sounds similar to Terapeake's title tool. I'll have to check that one out, thanks. For ClaudiuRo:
I'm not sure about new items that aren't drop shipped right now. I've never tried it that way myself. The thing is that you want to go with what already works. You just need to make sure you make your titles and descriptions are better than the others.
Make sure you check the listings of the item you want to put up. Find out if the item you want to put up is even actually doing well at all.
There's also a website, Google: evaluator online
It allows you to type in a specific product and see how well it does and how much it goes for as well. I find it helpful to know if the item I want to list is worth it.
Hope that helps.
