Ask me anything about dropshipping on ebay

. . .Also look at some of the big sellers who milked it for all these years. I was looking at honey roasted peanut (ebay seller), and he doesn't have any stock up. I think he's cashing out and quitting. . .

Was looking at them the other day, and had tons of items up. They have 9,281 items up right now. Many closing in the next few minutes, so they weren't all just added. I'm viewing through US site. No experience with international sites, maybe you were on one where his stuff didn't show? Anyway, no indication he's having problems, slowing down, or quitting.

How do you get a new account with higher limits that 5/$500? I've tried three times now, all fresh info each time and always get 5/500. The time it will take to build accounts up to good limits doesn't make this worthwhile it seems.

I have a question for you fine fellows.

What happens with genuinely faulty products..for example, A product that becomes faulty 3 months after faulty.

Do I refer the customer to the manufacturer or handle the return for the customer and relay to Amazon?

I believe most warranty's are handled by manufacturers, and unless the item is damaged from the get-go, it's out of Amazon's hands. I would refer them to the manufacturer first, and then if they need to make a return go through Amazon.

I've just opened my second eBay seller account and made my first sale. Hoping the buyer leaves feedback to get rid of the glaring 0. I thought I would not a PayPal hold on my account if it is linked to the same PayPal as my main seller account with no holds, although it appears I do have the hold, and so my PayPal debit card doesn't do me too much good. Guess I'll have to make sure to leave enough funds in my PayPal until I get the limit removed.

What bulk listing system are you using? Custom written? I was going to go this route as well, let me know if it works out or if you need someone else to test it :) Nice first week, always good to set a low margin and test the waters. Good luck.

Anyone here knows where to buy such automated programs that for example relist your prices when you get undercut or are you all programming them?

1. do amazon business accounts have any dropshipping benefits compared to personal accounts?

2. what's the best way to handle and report ebay sales tax?

3. are there any tax benefits to running an ebay business as an llc or sole proprietorship?

hi how do you drop ship from australi with amazon if amazon doesnt ship to australia and you can only sell within australia?

2. what's the best way to handle and report ebay sales tax?

Get a resale number from your state and pay sales tax through it.

3. are there any tax benefits to running an ebay business as an llc or sole proprietorship?

yes, an LLC can choose to be taxed separately as a corporation instead of together on your personal taxes and LLCs can lease assets from you like a car or a home office for legitimate business use.

I just wanted to say this is golden. I started yesterday (maybe 24 hrs ago), listed 100 items of 3 niches (I had an old account) and sold 4 items so far. Net profit after ALL deductions (ebay fees, paypal fees, shipping, local taxes) is: 31.88$ CAD.

I mean I JUST started. Give me time to refine my keywords and oh god. Now time to sleep!

Hey. A newbie here. Actually this is my first post on BHW, although I've been lurking here for a good while (in fact it's now probably my most visited site apart google).

So among other projects I want to start with Ebay dropshipping. However my ebay account was blocked 1.5 years ago for not paying seller fees. Clipboard02.jpg

So here are two questions:

  1. If I pay the fee (which is not much) do I get my account back? Before getting blocked it was in good standing.
  2. If I managed to get the account back, would Ebay be imposing fund holding when I se*l stuff (this word doesn't get through forum filter!), because they would probably be suspicious about my account.

Many of the big name ebay stores doesn't have many items listed because we are in Q4... Prices on amazon fluctuates like crazy during this season, and sellers just can't afford to lose profits.. They aren't shutting down.. They are on vacation and will be back next year... I have a couple of thousands items listed and this season is bananas... I might have to put my store on hold for a month or so. This is the season where everything practically sells and prices drops, go high and goes out of stock randomly.. These big names stores like Thehoneyroasted peanuts are protecting their business.. Usually online sellers love Q4 but dropshippers don't..

Call eBay and let them know you've grown a lot in the last year and a half and want to get back to selling responsibly. They might reinstate you
