Ask me anything about dropshipping on ebay

Amazon to ebay works but is preeeeetty risky,I wouldn't bet my living on it at all.IF you do it try to find products that don't ship in the Amazon box(I assume larger items may not seeing as I ordered a huge dog cage off there earlier this year and for the life of me don't remember seeing anything that hinted Amazon).I hear people saying if you have "customer service skills" you won't have a problem with it but I've also noticed on affiliate marketing and such sites people almost paint that the customers are mentally ill and don't check listening to them talk which is definitely not the case.

Nothing risky about it at all and plenty of people do make a living off it.
If it comes in an Amazon box and the customer questions it just tell them you use "Amazon Fulfilment" Which is a service they offer. You send them your product, they store and send it out when sold.

Every item that I have sold in the last week or so that was drop shipped from Amzon that received feedback said something along the lines of wow shipping was so fast item was perfect yadda yadda. This is about 20 items and ~10 feedback

I'm really interested in this way of dropshipping and i've read the topic. But as I live in Belgium, I think there is no possibility for me to do this? Of course we have access to Ebay and Amazon over here, but there is no amazon.be. We can buy from the American Amazon but of course with a long delivery time and a big chance of having to pay customs duty of around 20 euros!

What do you guys recommend? I don't think there is a way I can only sell in US for example while living in Belgium?

I recommend you read through the entire thread from start to finish. We've discussed selling on eBay.com from non US countries several times

You've actually heard people not only brave enough to live off AMazon to ebay(not those phony DS domination affiliate marketers)?THe box is bad but there's just so many ways around explaining the box that it's really nothing to worry about,it's the invoices and the little messages the seller may leave in the box,it's kind of hard explaining to a customer their 200 dollar item was only $70 and can't explain who you are when the customer heads over the seller's site. Most products I saw on Amazon I was able to source right where the product came from and cut them out the picture.Amazon to ebay is good but people really need to head over to the Amazon forums and see the posts of how shady the sellers over there can be when they feel they're being "used" and read some of the PROOF stories they have(I haven't been there in a few months but I'm sure some of those stories are still up).YES,if you have a specific list of items you're listing on Ebay from Amazon then you can more than likely be safe as you may have found a good seller but more than half the people who use "Amazon to ebay"find pretty much any and every item they can from various categories and doing so is russian roulette,I've personally never came across it but I've heard atleast 7 or so Ebayers who were sharing stories for laughs how the products they've dropshipped had the original seller from Amazon's info in it.

I stopped, had no reason to for the most part after I learned how to use google's full benefit.I have heard Amazon's returning process is pretty simple and may have an issue down the line trying to return products to the actual wholesaler now vs amazon but I'll cross that bridge once I get there(if I even have to,push come to shove I'll just have the items return to my address and use that to my benefit).Amazon DID allow me to somehow sell some good Electronics I'm not seeming to find anywhere else trustworthy but that's just a small loss anyway,I'll live.

Must have been more than a few months ago: Amazon stopped sending out invoices years ago to save money on shipping costs.

That or he was not using Amazon/Amazon FBA products.

That was my first thought. He doesn't drop ship though or he wouldn't be talking about invoices

Google's full benefit?

I've already said I don't dropship through AMAZON,and yes google's full potential, tracing most products on Amazon aren't too hard unless they're Home and Kitchen/Some Electronics.

which is beter idea ebay or creating a website?

They are both fantastic. eBay is easier because they provide the traffic source

Creating a website is good because you can't be shut down by eBay

If you can get massive traffic levels (Maybe you have a pinterest empire/massive social media presence) create your own site. If you don't have that sell on eBay

How are you getting traffic?

a lot depends on what you sell. If you want to sell new Louis Vuitton handbags, eBay is not the place for you

Hello

Does our choice of file names for the images in a product listing affect how optimized the listing will be in search results? I have heard conflicting information. Some people say your images file names should incorporate the keywords in the listing title to increase visibility for searches. Others say it doesn't matter.

Eg:

My listing is called: Black Hat World Shirt

Should the image uploaded for the product in the listing also be titled black-hat-world-shirt?

How much does listing view affect sales? I'm brand new to eBay dropshipping. Had one item with over 2,000 views in 30 days but no sale. Then I had two items that took less than 20 views to sell.

I started this a little over 3 weeks ago. Had a 2 year old account but hadn't sold anything. Currently done to this day 42 orders. I have money in my bank to help me through the PayPal holds. Everything is going smooth. Feedback is going up fast currently have 15. Can't wait to upscale. Thanks for the share and advice.
