Ask me anything about dropshipping on ebay

This may be a dumb question but my selling limit is 100 items. When I list an item it goes to 99 and so on. If I list 100 items I will be at zero, can I get sales then? If I sell at 0 can I change my quantity back to 1 after? I'm just a little confused on this. Thank you.

Listing limit 100 = Your sold items + your listed items must equal 100 or less

So if you list 100 item on 12/1 and you sell 10 items, you can list 90 more until end of the month

I guess that makes sense. I would say that they don't like it because it might annoy buyers when an item arrives in Amazon packaging.

I'm sure eBay wants to be knows as the "same stuff as Amazon, but with higher prices!" website.

no, but customer complaints can get you shut down quick
I mean this situation. I have some items. It is high-quality and good. But I can not get the documents for the right to sell, because they do not have the certificate of conformity. It is obtained through eBay you can sell?

Im looking for a dropshipper to use other than amazon and im also looking to get an ebay seller verified account. Got any advice?

The VERO program gives the rights holder to a trademark pretty much absolute right to control who can sell it on eBay. If eBay asks you to prove that you have the right to sell an item, and you can't provide it, then they can shut you down, if even if your products are 100% legit.

How do you go around choosing the right titles for your listing? Whats the best way to find the best keywords related to your product ? Also how do you research to find the right product to sell ?

Check completed listings and see what is selling the best.

Like so many others, really appreciate your thoughts on this, awesome!

I'd have a question about the most recommended process listing items:

I have been breaking my head around digging through items on terapeak only to find items actually more expensive on amazon ;-)

I then decided to flip things on its head and take the amazon sales page as a reference and comparing it back to terapeak, which to me instantly was a lot more effective. Given I'm looking at using dropshipping to fund my cpa activities, my intent is to scale, automate and outsource as quick, as possible, therefore I would be very grateful if you could share your wise 2 cents on your specific process to source items. I fully appreciate, in case you do not want to disclose in exact manner, in case you could go as precise as you feel comfortable, that would be very cool.

Please hit me up, in case you (ever) need advice in paid traffic, affiliate marketing, more than happy to share.

I won't say exactly how we source items

I will say this: Don't use Terapeak. Complete waste of time

I have one main question,I plan on drop shipping items out of the country now and let's use China for instance.Say I have "Really awesome china product"listed BUT the delivery service is epacket, how do I list epacket in Ebay?I see other sellers listing it and even being able to post the item's from China but I don't know how to,I was gonna just put some random China postal code to make the item pop up from China but I still want to know how to use the Epacket feature

Anybody got an answer:p

Didn't comment on this earlier because we don't do anything international. Easy to get negative feedback, shipping delays across seas are plentiful

Waste of time and money in our opinion

Hey, I've been looking into doing this method for a while now. However, I'm situated in Canada. I was wondering if it was possible to ship items to the USA or am I only limited to Canada? Would it be as simple as searching products on Amazon(USA) and posting them on Ebay(USA) I've seen that a lot of products on Amazon(USA) only ship to the USA therefore I wouldn't be able to post those listings on Ebay(ca)? Is that correct?

EDIT: I'm Basically asking if there's a way to allow only certain demographics of ebay to buy my products, because sometimes amazon products are only available to ship in the United States, Likewise with the Canadian version of Amazon it's restricted to only Canadian shipping. Or is that the whole point of different version of Ebay

Answered on the first page of this thread. Yes there is a way to sell on ebay.com from Canada and yes there is a way to block international buyers

I want to start at Amazon. Can you please provide a clear evaluation of both on the basis of profit margins.

Started selling items I have around the house such as car parts, old toys, games/consoles etc.. to build my account up to that 100 feedback which will hopefully get rid of the 21 day hold.
Got a few items in mind that I think will work well, looking forward to giving it a go

Good stuff! Make sure you're on top of your shipping and upload your tracking info as soon as possible :)

You don't need 100 feedback to get the hold removed. I got it removed around 20.

Just starting my "empire" .. When i close 7 and only 3 pay. Can I tell them that there is a nonpayment fee of 10 dollars haha. For me not to leave bad feedback. Let's get real they would probably pay. Is that acceptable by eBay ??

I have 60, 100% feedback. My eBay account & PayPal are close to 5 years old.
Id imagine it's down to the long period of time since I last sold something on the site.
There are few different reason as to why they put on a 21 day hold, 100 feedback is the only one I don't have so that's what I'm aiming for.

Hi i have just started on dropshipping and has just listed an item from Azone. Everything looks okay except the shipping fee. I have no idea why i can't ship internationally(perhaps because i've just created the account lesser than an hour??). But the problem is i have no idea how to calculate the shipping fee. Should i look up my local or international courier pricing? Or is there a tool that could just simply calculate the prices for me. Would appreciate all the help! Thanks in advance!

You need to look into it. Pointless listing items for sale when you have no idea how much it will cost to send it.. For all you know it will cost more than the item itself and put you in the negative.
Suggest you take down the item(s) and research everything properly.

Thanks for the advice! How do you get a rough idea for the shipping cost? Still trying to figure that out. Tried clicking on shipping on amazon but i can't set it to a default price for customers can i? Since their address are all different

I feel left out

Thanks for the answer re Terapeak. I also use eBay's completed auctions (ideal if you can't afford a subscription!).

Another thing I do to increase sales, is to offer a free bonus item. So if your competitor offers a pair of hiking shoes, I also offer a free pair of hiking socks, etc. The bonus items don't cost much, but it seems to shift my items quickly. Something to consider.
