I have been email marketing for over 5 years now and always like making connections for possible JV's.
If anyone needs help setting up their Mass Email Autoresponders. I have lots of experience with BHAR, TEAR, and Interspire.

I mainly push dating offers but have expanded into other niches.
Will update this thread according to reply's.

Hi BusinessSmack, I'd like to ask a few questions:

1. How to achieve high inbox rate ?

2. Do you follow up from an initial email to build trust or give them regular notice about an offer right off the bat ?

3. What's the best email service for beginner ? (mailchimp, sendy, get response ...etc)

4. How do you get email list, scrape or collect ?

5. What's your main traffic source for email list, SE or paid or social media ?

6. For blackhat mass mailing, what's your advice to success ?

Thank you for taking your time to answer :)

question 4 from the previous poster i'm intrested in as well.

And if you scrape them, do you use external services to check for bounces and such or do you verify the list inhouse so to speak

I think there are email verifying software to check if the email is still active or dead, like atomic mail checker ?

Hi BusinessSmack, I'd like to ask a few questions:

Thank you for taking your time to answer :)

1. How to achieve high inbox rate ?

By using SMTP service, currently use Sendgrid and not sending offers on first email.
Here's a list of other SMTP services I've looked into:

2. Do you follow up from an initial email to build trust or give them regular notice about an offer right off the bat ?

Yes, I always follow up, even ask them to save my email address. Interested leads reply increasing my IP credibility because now I have started rapport with leads and inboxing will be much easier with links.

3. What's the best email service for beginner ? (mailchimp, sendy, get response ...etc)

I have used GetResponse and Aweber for list building but they are not meantv for mass mailing.
Mass mailing I have used Interspire (also good for list building) but I currently use TEAR and BHAR before.
TEAR automates the conversations with leads and I can reply with specific templates based on triggers in email.

The last two softwares I prefer over Interspire for mass mailing simply because there is less that can go wrong and the simplicity of it. Plus you can mail with cloud email providers (Yahoo, Gmail, AOL) -> with some tweaking.

4. How do you get email list, scrape or collect ?

This is the secret people don't really shell out haha. I don't scrape emails though, I have in the past using GSA email spider on CL takes a little bit of tweaking to work. Not sure if it works still.

PM me and I'll for other methods

question 4 from the previous poster i'm intrested in as well.

And if you scrape them, do you use external services to check for bounces and such or do you verify the list inhouse so to speak

I use TEAR to hit them with a simile first email. Hey found you on... You still interested in.. [niche]
If they reply they are live. You can also make a blacklist to remove support type emails.

But that's scrapping. Live leads are better.

5. What's your main traffic source for email list, SE or paid or social media ?

Similar to the last question. If I pay FB is usually super targeted and quality leads but bing is good too. People often overlook it and that's why it's much cheaper than Google Adwords.

6. For blackhat mass mailing, what's your advice to success ?

Outsource someone to bring you leads in. And setup an email software to convert the hell out of them.

I think there are email verifying software to check if the email is still active or dead, like atomic mail checker ?

When I import leads into TEAR software it checks for duplicates, valid emails, and black listed emails.
I think this is standard for Interspire and BHAR as well.

Hey,

I have some questions

1.Can you reccomend any cheap platform that can mail around 500k/day?
I am looking at around $400 platform license or cheap.

Looking that can do both GI and TLD effectively simultaneously.

you may pm me if you don't feel posting here.

2. How do you manually clean the list? I just want to remove the hardbounces.

Thanks a lot mate.

I migh post some more questions as I get I hope you dont mind.

How to avoid emails I sent to be appeared on spam folders?

Avoiding spam folders is where TEAR (total email auto responder) comes in handy. It allows you to set multiple fixed/canned responses so you don't send your offer in the first or second email.
Gmail or other email providers will see this conversation and not mark it as spam when you send your product link in email #3 or #4.

1. TEAR, Interspire, BHAR are all good for this.

I have like 6 TEAR softwares running on my dedicated server. So I dont overwhelm any one plus they are all doing different things.

2. I'm sure you know but for anyone who doesn't..

There are two types of bounces:
1) Hard bounces: Temporary reason (it is an autoresponder or full mailbox)
2) Soft bounces: Permanent bounce (invalid or blocked email address)

To delete hard bounces:
1) Locate your SMTP provider (mines Sendgrid atm)
2) You can usually download emails results in a CVS
3) If you can't find it email support (They like it too cause it shows you care)
4) Add hard bounced emails to the softwares blacklist
5) Email with less bounces!

Thanks for your advice!

Just started using TEAR sending traffic with gmail and getting into adult

Nice thread !

Have you (OP) any experience with amazon SES ?

TEAR supports amazon SES smtp
Already running it. New for me but working well
98% inboxing

(Always have 2-3 SMTP's on standby 1 will always get banned eventually)

have you ever looked into https://www.phplist.com
is it something someone getting into email marketing should use or is it not worth it?

I haven't but looks like an interesting concept. How did you find it?

I'll let u know if I test it out.
Mainly only mass mailing right now and these cloud solutions are not for that.
They are for building optin lists.

Is hostgator+TEAR good for mass mailing?

How do you get your emails - scraping or buying?

Ya that's a solid start.

1. Hostgator - for domains and POP3 accounts
2. TEAR - for emailing campaigns
3. Reliablesite.net - current VPS provider to run TEAR on (allows separate IP and 24/7 sending)
4. Sendgrid.com - currently using for my SMTP solution for high inboxing

Remember this is just one way to do it. There are many other setup possibilities.

For traffic I rev share and outsource leads to people who are better at that then me.
Scrapping can be good to I have always done it in the past.

Buying email lists from websites that sell email databases is a good ideea? Those websites where you can select the area, age, income etc.
Thanks.

I've never done it, any specific sites u have in mind?

Be interested to see if anyone has experience / feedback with those sites.

So Business Smack.. To start sending emails in a large volume you need a server/vps, an SMTP solution, and.. anything else that's really needed? Like a domain name? I'm a newbie at this but I wanna get into it. I'm guessing something like TEAR isn't neccesarily needed but just helpful..

What about a bunch of ips? is that needed to be able to switch if one of them gets blacklisted?

Also.. about how many emails do you send per month if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks in advance, I'm trying to put all the pieces together. :)

Oh, and if you don't mind, I'd like to know what you think of emaildatapro (I can't post links yet)

They seem to not have very targeted lists. And I would imagine that trying to send emails to a purchased list of 85 million would result in a lot of hard bounces.

Hey Jay, you're almost there but I'm not sure if u get the setup yet or if your looking to do something different.
Let me go into more detail on the list above.

I basically use the same VPS all the time maybe switch every 6 months but have several SMTP accounts.

1. Hostgator - for domains and POP3 accounts (as the from address)
2. TEAR - for emailing campaigns (crucial for my email strategy for high inboxing and clicks)
3. Reliablesite.net - current VPS provider to run TEAR on (allows separate IP and 24/7 sending - currently have over 20 TEAR apps running on my VPS)
4. SMTP - need SMTP solution for high inboxing and avoid ban IP's (Sendgrid, amazon, smtp.com are may favorites)

Here's a video about why u need an email software for my strgy.

Like I said before I never purchased email lists, just live leads which I turn into large email list and use again later.
