Hey Guys!
I handle the support for this awesome software!

I am reserving this spot for all Q&A's

Q: Can you set delays? So have a message send 5 minutes after an incoming email?
A: Yes! Every template can have its own delay. Anywhere from 1 minute, to days... (this makes it not seem like a bot that instantly replies to your emails)

Q: Can you use free services (gmail/aol/yahoo) to send mail correct? What are the inbox rates?
A: Our members are successfully using it with Gmail and Yahoo at the moment. I'm not sure about AOL. I know that with Gmail we have found out that if it's not making a smtp connection to first log in via browser and then try to make the smtp connection in the software. That has seemed to fix the connection issue if it is to arise.
A Majority of our members use paid smtp services like Smtp.com. There are also some great free alternatives like Mandrillapp (awesome!)
Or if you have hosting depending on your provider you can use your own domain to mail. Hostgator allows up to 500 emails sent per hour. I know many people that have great success with this method. Be sure to ask your hosting provider how many emails sent they allow per hour. Some are less like 100-250/hour.
With this software it's easy to keep high inbox rates because you don't have to send a link in the first email or 2. This creates 'conversation'. Gmail see's the 2 emails are interacting with each other so when you send the link in email 3 or 4 it will not be marked as spam. Gmail has great inbox rates along with smtp services like Smtp.com and Mandrillapp. We have also seen people have great success mailing from Hostgator servers with their own domains. You can setup a email inside your hosting cPanel.

Feel Free to Skype Me: The.Slug04 or shoot us an email at [email protected]

Thanks very much Mr Apricot for such a fast live time! Have a great weekend & Looking forward to all questions from BHW Members!

If so what is the inbox rate on messages with these services?

I imagine you mailing from AOL will not yield you near the results.

I actually made a post about TEAR a few weeks ago and here are some of my SMTP results using sendgrid.
These are my statistics for 80k emails sent using TEAR:

Email_Rates.jpg

I was looking for an email marketer to JV with, cross promote w/e and he was proud of his mass email setup when we first met. Then I showed him my dedicated server with the tear campaigns on it and he was majorly impressed lol basically you guys did a great job.

Does that mean that we need to use TEAR with another service provider? It is not working alone?

You can use TEAR own it's own, like if your logging into cloud email providers like google, yahoo, aol, etc. or simple domain emailing.

But for mass mailing (if you want to really inbox and do some damage) u need to put that puppy on a VPS and get an SMTP provider to protect your IP's.

All common practice in mass email marketing.

I've had a couple people contact me about an issue where they get an error when running the SMTP of POP3 account 'test' or running the software
You will get the error "The specific module could not be found"

To Fix this go to: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
Download all 3, but install x86, if needed install also x64 and test.

This issue should no longer happen with the new version release on May 5th. Enjoy!

Hey, have anybody tried this as craigslist auto respond? Since CL like their coded messages and also like to block repeats.

We're adding a new feature for this. Should be out in version 3.1

Right now we just had our huge 3.0 update, which doesn't require a license anymore and has a big portable database.
New features is phase 2. PM me for details of if you are interested in specific features.
