Found the problem. The problem was the avast web shield and a win application related with tcp management. So u were spot on. It is odd because it runned like a charm until few months ago.Any suggestion for an AV with real time protection that doesnt affect sb ?
Sounds good. Error 0 is a odd sort of error, it means there was a tcp error but that windows doesn't know what it was. In your case it could be security software triggering based on some content or the ulr its self for example, so try it with your A/V uninstalled as a test, as you noted.
It could be some other issue. For instances on 1 of my VPS I recently pushed the connections limit that windows can handle too high, so there was no buffer space available, aka no connections could be made. I was running a load of things at once, but its just the point that sometimes its something simple like that.
