Speaking of french and english I remember reading a reddit comment about a guy who was bilingual who would look up all his English essays in french and then translate them. Technically plagiarism and just as nasty, but you could probably get away with it.

To be fair this is what I do although I do give credit for the article to the author. To the OP, it can still rank as far as I'm aware but it would be harder to rank higher as they published it first. (Please correct me if I'm wrong this is just my understanding)

Think of it as you made a site using copied(stolen) content and some how you managed to rank it on google but somehow google will find out and remove your site from the face of earth how would you feel about that? let me guess not so good aye? then why waste all your time and efforts on something which will not last long. My suggestion is to atleast rewrite the content before you post that on your site.
