Method to rank images on google images

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I really like it.

Can you give a method or any idea to rank my blog images on Google images, so my images became the first pictures that the visitor will see ?

I do that all the time using what I call Image SEO... I describe it here on my blog:

Images are addressed about 2/3 of the way down or so.

You can post you image to image sharing sites with high PR like flicr imageshack and other.
Post you image with url to your site in description.
Good luck

Made the image alt tag your keyword and place it in an optimised blog post all about that search term. Jobs a gooden!

its just applied rules of normal SEO. Use your imagination and dont go for ultra competitive keywords
