There is no "Best" way to get a backlink.Simply find a forum or website that's related to your niche, and post your link in it. That's all I'm saying. It's been the same method for the last thousand years.

does it matter the amount of backlinks you have?
because sites in my niche have 100,000's of backlinks and im just at 700

Dude, I think you should read around a bit more, before you start building any backlinks. Jumping in head first will just kill your site.

But some backlinks are better than others, and I guess his question would be better rewritten as "what are the best types of backlinks to build?", to which I would answer:
- Natural links from authority sites
- PBN links
- Tiered links
- Donation links
- High quality directory submissions

Try to get as many links as you possibly can... Software will definitely help as you'll get links faster.

Concentrate on quality content that is in-depth. That is the surest approach to get the rankings and traffic that you want. The old methods of SEO are all pointless in this new age of content creation and distribution.
