All the monthly searches up until March have averaged around 200 MS. In April, MS jumped to 1500, and in May, MS jumped to 4400.
Should I go for it?

Find out why there is such an increase in monthly searches. If it looks like it is going to continue, and is not related to a one-off event, then go for it.

No completely unrelated, I don't think it's something that can be affected by an event. Anyway, I'll wait till next month and see where things go. Thanks!

Jump on it if it is not an event or seasonal (I actually like seasonal KWs myself) and start to bank now and grow with the trend.

If it is an action keyword, all you are risking is a domain name. Why wait?

Alright I'm going for it... Just registered a domain name. the top 3 results are a Facebook page and 2 YouTube videos. The other top 10 are huge authority sites and some normal websites. Good news?

That would not stop me from pursuing a KW if I thought it was a money maker.
