how to redirect 404 to search in wordpress

Anyone know how to redirect 404 page not found for the search page of wordpress?

I missed a few pages, but I want the page not found go to search and show search results.

results based on the words of the lost url, is that possible?

Have a look at some of the plugins here:

Most will redirect to the homepage but you could set them to a search query.

404 error rule in .htaccess maybe ? Not that familiar with wp since few years.
