Hey

Judging from your experience, is the adwords display planner that shows number of impressions and cookies on websites using adsense underestimated, overestimated, or accurate? I feel it's underestimated, what's your 2cents about this?

Hey guys,

I've a 1-2 year old account barely used and now I'm starting to run again.

If I want to use my brother's credit card (name and address) - with permission of course, obviously differs from the name in the account I have;

is this allowed? Does it anger Mr.G and risk my account getting flagged? I have a debit card; but would prefer to run it with a credit card for now.

For tracking, I personally use the Adwords conversions tracker. You would just need to set it up in Tools and Analysis>Conversions. I find it to be the simpliest and easiest to use, in my honest opion.

I don't suppose you can tell me why Google adwords don't allow anything to do with gambling, not even a free advice service, even though gambling is totally legal in the UK. My adwords account got suspended and I was told by Google that I must have a gambling license to be accepted in adwords, however I can't get a gambling license because I don't participate in gambling, i.e I am not a bookmaker or casino and I certainly don't take bets. So Im stuck! Any suggestions on how I can get by this? G doesn't seem to care!

Ok, I have couple easy questions. I have really small start couple days ago and need some help to get this going to right direction. At the moment, start does not seem good.

My overall campaign CTR is 0.75% for today, CPC 0.72?, Avg pos. 3.6

The problem is that my products in amazon are priced between 10-30usd (plus added stuff by buyers, that does not count here). The funny thing is that 10% of my real visitors turn into purchased products. With only 400 organic, unique visitors, I got bit under 100usd (70 items) amazon profit per month which shows that there is potential. Of course I hope this adwords campaign will deliver better conversion. Now I need to adjust the adwords settings so that I can increase CTR, lower CPC and target ads better.

- How soon I can start adjusting the CPC and daily bid?
- Should I use the recommended bid what keyword planner gives?
- Other ideas?

ps. I tried to post url to screenshot of report but my account is too new for that.

-Start adjusting the bids right away. Decide what is the max you can spend per sale and how many clicks would be required approximately to generate a conversion. With the unavailability of historical stats, you will have to invest upfront.
-Treat the recommended bid given by Keyword Planner more like an estimate.

I have 2 questions.

1) Any tips on trying to find sites to put banners on that use the google network? At present I'm just having to do a google search under some keywords I think are targeted and see what comes up and then look to see if they have ads on there or not.

Have you tried using the Display Planner?

2) Is there a way to put a banner ad on a site, on a particular page of the website rather than across the entire site? For example www.site.com/subpage.html

Start by adding www.site.com/subpage.html as the placement. If you still get clicks/impressions from other pages then you will have to use exclude placement to block the other pages.

I don't see a lot of reasons why it won't be. If Video is something that fits your niche & you have the budget- then yes go for it as the revamped Youtube Ad formats are pretty useful.

I don't offer such type of coaching, but if u r willing to spend some then there were a couple of Adwords Certification exam preparation related courses. Don't have the link as of now though (don't use ipassexam as their questions are basic imo)

Also, since they have removed the $50 exam fee now - why not give it twice? If I am correct, you can reapply after 2 weeks. The questions would be 70-75% same.

Lastly, you don't need help for cheating if you think a little BlackHat (Hint - Another system running simultaneously for "googling".)

Hi,

You can experiment by adding more keywords. However, Display Network is now a lot more advanced/innovative so I recommend making use of the following features:

ICM or Interest Category Marketing Campaign: I had good success with these campaigns. You don't really need to add keywords either as the system will run by itself to find your target audience.

Remarketing for display: Another good feature. Keep the bids low as display audience is usually not ready to buy. So use remarketing ads to funnel them deeper into the sales funnel.

There is also Topic Targeting, although I recommend you use it with additional layer of keywords as the traffic is not very targeted. Also, I had mixed results with Display Campaign Optimizer (DCO). So that's another feature which you can test.

Nothing beats manual placement campaign though - so use the Display planner to find more targeted placements.

my problem is iwas having more than 1 acct which i have used same vcc on all 3 of them but i accidentally entered the wrong billing info on one of them which caused all three of them to get suspended and am trying to get back to google , will i need to change the domain for all three of them as other people suggest here , new domain , new pc , etc or i can run anew acct using the same domain as before and what else new should i get. thanks a lot for ur help in advance

We prefer manual bid optimization unless the account is very large. So don't have any recommendation for such tools. However, you can use the "Automated Rules" feature to manage bids within adwords for free.
