Finally reached 100k likes for my facebook page

Hi guys,

I have been following this site for long time and got inspiration to start my own facebook page.

With lot of study on members post here I started my page on August and now by December I have reached 100k. I never used any tools are so, All I did was just posted images and chatted with my fans.. Later in mid of September I started posting videos which picked up the phase. I figured out that pattern of Image, text post and video post in ratio of 3:2:5 respectively gave a good coverage of traffic.

Then at november my page got ban by facebook for violating of hate speech (I dont know how a adult page got this complain and facebook took action for it) I applied for the unblock and I got my page back.

THe travel contended when I reached my 90+k I planned to use hootshot to autopost, I noticed that traffic coverage gone down because of using 3ed party tool. I then again started posting manually on own and page came back to normal.

I got 100k likes exactly at xmas night. I learnt so many thing here in this site and applied all my thoughts. I just want to post here to thank each and every contributor here also want to share my journey so others get some idea about it.


What will be my next move can I earn any money? with this 100k page. Do suggest me some ideas guys.

Congratulations dude. Now try creating a website and monetise it using your fan page.

Also, you said your reach decreased when you used HootSuite? For how long did you test this and by what % did the reach decrease?
 
Congrats on u r success. Make another account and add it as admin. By any chance you lose main a/c u won't lose u r page

Congratulations on this man!!! When you say 3:2:5 do you mean in that order? 3 images, then 2 texts, then 5 videos?

also, i noticed that same decrease with hootsuite, my posts werent reaching as many people.
 
If its an adult page, then why not? Monetize it with offers. Post links occasional. I think I saw some people recommending zen19s PUA offer for these sort of stuff. I monetize my pages differently so I suggest you check zens offers out.

Haha..just had to reply to this. When OP said the ratio is 3:2:5, he meant the ratio of importance. For example, videos tend to be more important than images which in turn tend to be more important than texts. Notice the sum adds up to 10? At least, this is my interpretation.
 
congrats now you'll have to be more careful in monetizing that page.
Also start working on back up pages with new id's fb can screw anytime so be prepared.

Ohh okay. He said that pattern gave good traffic so i thought he was talking about action steps lol

I tested just for week
nearly 40% drop to be exact.
