I have a wordpress website, and the SEO by Yoast WordPress Plugin. When my site shows in google, the tile is: "WebsiteDomain:Title".
I dont want the domain name in description, I just want the first title of my site, but i have no clue how to change this?

Anyone? :)

HAve you tried force rewrite tittles? It's under general tab on Yoast.

Have you recently changed your wordpress title, if so googles bots indexed when it was changed, soon they will update. if not then it might be something to do with your plugins or theme. deactivate all the plugins and go back to original theme -> change the name of the website and see if you activate everything again if it has the right parameters

It happend when i changed theme, but when I tested my old theme on another site, the same thing happend...

Am facing the same problem, I was recently checking my site's SERP and found my site's Title has been changed in the SERPs for all of my ranking keywords. It's in the same format as OP mentioned. BTW, my actual title is "Target Keyword | WebsiteDomain". Am using Flexibility 3 theme and All in one seo plugin.

Anyone else facing the same?

Since googles bots caught your theme with the name website title, you have to wait until they index your site another time

No they index me all the time, still same title :P

Check with the title of the page via the code inspector or check the source code. If the changes you made exists there in the code view then wait for some time until google catches up the new title in the SERP.

you need to go on source code on wordpress and check the title code and change for default!

suggest you to make backup template before to procced to change anything you can make much mistake and google dont index anymore you sites post!!

"Homepage & Front page

You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself »
