When I was in direct sales we always used to say, "The easiest sale is to another salesperson because they
already know the dance so we don't have to teach them the tune.".
Thats interesting. I understand your executive VIP but I come from a family of salesman (4) my 1 brother
does direct sales training for a living, and every sales person I've spoken in my life to has said the
complete opposite.
In fact, I haven't heard that saying once my entire life.
What I HAVE heard is:
"Salesman are the hardest to sell to because they already know your rebuttals, your fear mongering, your fake
guarantees, etc etc".
I can also speak from real life experience. I've seen my brother called hundreds of times by telemarketers, and he
winds up trying to sell THEM something. He will keep them on the line just to fuck with them and exploit their entire
pitch. Like "Johnny, you're saying your warranty is good for 30 years but your company has only been in business for
4 years...." on and on until the "salesman" winds up hanging up the phone.
There are many different types and breeds of salesman. Salesman who sell furniture, salesman who sell tvs, salesmen
who sell SEO (who aren't really salesmen in the first place if you ask me) then there are the real salesman who sell
$100,000 additions, or a $40,000 kitchen remodel. These are the guys who can walk into a home for an hour, and
leave a few thousand dollars richer.
So the problem as I see it, very few people who work in sales, actually know shit about selling. Maybe thats why you
think they're easy to sell to. But when you find a real salesperson, who does high end sales, who lives and breaths
direct sales for a living, who's been trained by guys who sell over $100,000 / month in whatever industry their in,
you're not going to "sell" those types of people anything. It will be the hardest sale of your life. They will critique you,
they will criticize you, they will call every one of your bluffs, they will force you show your entire hand, then they will
negotiate the price down so low by the time they leave you'll be asking for a new job.
When I search gigs on this forum I spend about 5 seconds reading the first page copy. Then I spend most my time
reading reviews. I look for repeat customers, I look for people posting ranking reports, and most of all I look for complaints.
I never contact the seller, I contact people he's sold to. People who may have ordered recently but didn't leave a review.
Thats what a real salesman does (online at least). For any larger investments I make (offline), I will get phone numbers
of previous customers, I will call them one by one, I will grill them, I will known damn sure before I drop a dime what
I'm getting involved with.
I never take any vendors word to mean anything, and I always make that effort to do "market research".
As far as the thread goes, I think the OP should take a research course at his local community college. The skill of research
is one of the most valuable assets a person can have (aside from the ability to sell). The few SEO services I've ordered on
here (for YT videos) have gotten all my videos on page 1 of google. When I need website SEO, I go to WF. For 2 reasons.
1) Its a much more competitive marketplace. Competition is a good thing. It means more traffic, more buyers, more chance
to make money... but most importantly, more leverage to do market research.
2) The general morale, as far as SEO goes, is much higher than BHW. Afterall, this is a blackhat forum. I'm not saying BH
is bad. The guy I currently use for all my sites does BH SEO. But he has over 3 years worth of feedback and gets like 1
complaint every 6 months. He has years worth of excellent feedback. You can contact his customers and all of them say the
same thing "xxxxx is awesome, one of the hugest assets to my business".
I'm sure there are guys like that on this forum, but I've never needed to find one. I just use BHW for YT videos because spam
ranks videos, so when I need spam, I come here.

When I need to build a business, I go to a person I trust. A person who I
researched for **6** months straight before I ever spent a dime on his service.
Anyway, my point is, 90% of the "sellers" posting SEO services... aren't salesman. And most buyers have no idea how to do
basic research. You don't look at a threads rating and decided "this gig must be good". You take your time, one by one, reading
every review in a gig, contacting people by pm, grilling the seller with hard questions. And you do this for multiple gigs at a time.
Then you start getting pms back, you take everything into account, put it on a scale, and make a calculated decision. The more
time you waste doing research, the less risky your investments will be. Thats how it usually goes in life.
And if I had to guess how many buyers go through a process like this, I'd say its less than 5%. Which explains why you see
threads like this. Bitter, jaded people who throw their money at SEO sellers like you'd see at a roulette table.
