LOL, I'm amazed that people are still buying services =)))))
If they are so good, they would rank themselves =)))))
Very naive statement.
1.SEO is VERY hard. It's not just ranking sites, it's also finding great niches, building a readable site, getting the CTA right, getting the product right, getting the timing right, and if you doing CPA you know everything has to be 110% spot on to get it right.
and even then, if google brings an update it's back to the drawing board.
so of course people will provide services as well as it's another revenue stream.
also, it's like saying teachers only teach because they can't do; it's not the case, some people are just good at teaching, some people enjoy it. The same with this industry I guess.
I was once asked to review a service.
It was an article writing service.
When I received the review copy it read as if it had been written by a dyslexic 3 year old.
Rather then post a bad review which I believe would've been unethical I refused to post one.
However further down the line when outrageous claims were being made about these articles
I had no option but to post my opinion which wasn't to the vendors favor.
I probably put him out of business but surely if a service doesn't provide what it professes it
is our duty to give our honest opinion (preferably backed up with facts) to the other members
of this forum.
If the Op has evidence of any untoward claims or lies made by BST vendors he has the option to post
his claims in the said vendors BST thread or use the Shit List.
Of course, if someone is doing a poor job, then that's a different matter.
some people here don't provide a good service, but in my opinion, the majority do, and it's because of all the measures we have in place, I think providers know they have to do a good job to stay in business.
but you know in SEO, just because you don't get a result, it doesn't mean the service was shit; there are so many factors to get right.
