Hi Meathead,

I've recently met someone (JV) and we're planning to focus our self on site flipping, and ofcourse you're the man who knows the most about this, we will be using Flippa.

We want to set up some sites using Chikita ads (you might know them, but doesn't really matter). We believe we can make a good income with Chikita with traffic buying. After a couple months of steady earnings we wan't to sell it on Flippa. Is this allowed? We will include the traffic source in the sale and also mention it in our sales copy (If needed I will be happy to explain the buyer it).

But aren't we risking any charge backs with reasons like no legit traffic or something like this? We will be investing a couple hunderd bucks in it and we do not want to risk it.

Thank you!

C@MEL

Hopefully do you understand me :)

Hey Meathead, props for this AMA :)

Q: Where do you see the biggest money making potential in IM in 2014 / 2015?
It can be for a single person or a company.

One little blog that has just started earning like $5 day ($150 per month) and if it hits $300 (twice more, growing profits) in the next month, how much would I be able to sell it for ?

Keywords will be stuck on #1 so = permanent traffic.

I will be able to provide only 2 months proof of adsense earnings of flippa.

Some told me it can be sold for x4 and others say x6-x8.

What do you think and what other factors does it depend on ?

No need for a lot of paragraphs, just your opinion, thx.

you have $$ to invest . (not too much)

where you will invest (expect site flipping )

No issues with paid traffic as long as you declare it and account for the cost.

Depends what you're good at - there's money to be made lots of ways.

Probably $3k on Flippa is marketed correctly. Doesn't have much history but someone would bid.

Depends what you know about - don't throw money at something you don't understand.

How old are you when you started getting successful in your business?

I started messing around in 2008 (when I joined BHW) and was full-time by mid 2010.

What level of education do you have? Any degrees?

I have a BSc in Business Administration from a good uni in the UK.

What do you think I can do with the url - keyworddata.co.uk

I heard from sources that you help selling websites. Do you guarantee that the websites you are involved in selling are genuine. As you wrote above we can't relay on flippa so is there anything you can offer some kind of assurance for good money websites?

How do you determine the value of a website when you buy/sell it? Do change things on a website after you buy it?

Maybe sell search data related to certain keywords? I'm not sure if people would pay for it as there are lots of free tools that can do the same thing, but you never know.

This is a good question and one I get a lot. Anyone who tries to offer guarantees when selling businesses is lying. I can't guarantee anything, but we do do a number of checks to ensure sites are legitimate and my team are very experienced - so we tend to spot issues that a less experienced buyer wouldn't. Our reputation is on the line every time we sell a site so quality is important to me. Ultimately, though, due diligence is down to the buyer regardless of where you are buying.

There's a lot of variables related to business valuation - too much to go into here. Usually make changes if I buy a site - I often spot things to do before I buy it so I can add value quickly.

I need some keywords on body fitness

What were your stats when you started IM?
Were you able to invest when you started?

- All my own money, I don't like borrowing from my parents.

I have publicrecords.co Do you think it has a potential? Or should i just let it expire or sell for a few bucks?

I understand that one can't guarantee but some kind of assurance could gives a great sanctification to the buyer. This is challenging thing and new buyers are always skeptical about this thing if they end up burning their hands on fake/fraud sites. I'm sure due to the same reason many of us never bought a website. I'm in to IM since 2008 and Never bought a site YET. I regret for the same but I have no other option as I never get myself satisfied with the flippa stats.

Let me know if you can help me buying money making sites. I have good budget for them.

I sent you a pm about selling a site but you never reply can you have a look on it now.

how long does it take on average to sell a customers website worth $100-200k ?
