I hear a lot about niche blog/sites on here, but I've never heard anything about flash game sites. Are these profitable with ad sense and click bank? I know there is a huge audience for these sites, but I also know that there are a ton of these kind of sites already, so i was just curious. Is it worth a ~$150 investment to get one of these?

If you are thinking of buying a flash game site for 150$ without nothing special to it( I mean traffic/subscribers), I would suggest you just go to ebay and search for arcade/flash game sites and get one for like 25 bucks if not less.
Completely off topic, but I am just finishing watching the LOTR trilogy as we speak. Threw me off for a second seeing your name lol. On topic: I agree with what you said.
Well the one that I am looking at is a bit different then the one's listed on Ebay. The design is much better, and it has like a social media aspect to it. Apparently there are free memberships and things like that. I think I can get it for $80. The only thing that makes me nervous is its age. It is only a month or two old. Will that affect its ability tube ranked in google?

If no SEO has been done to it(especially black hat) it's actually great that it's 1-2 months old because you can start link building right away.
Note: I'm not that familier with SEO, so if someone with more experience can confirm it, it would be great, but as far as I know it's best to wait 1-2 weeks after the creation of the site before you start serious link building on your site.

ArmorGames actually uses its ad spaces to promote the flash games on its own site. Not sure exactly how they profit but I know that many of their games have some sort of "premium" content that players can pay for. Having the AG logo in the loading screen and requiring players to register on AG to have full access to the game helps increase playerbase and authority.
That's interesting, i thought aged domains were always better for SEO. Yea as far as i know, the site was created then immediately uploaded to to the domain selling site, so i think it is brand new. Would link building be the same with this sort of site, as opposed to a niche blog site?

Of course aged domains have more authority and are easier to rank. What I meant is that if you bought and started a new you would have to wait few days to be sure it's safe, while with this you will be able to start seo right away.
As for the difference in link building between this type of site and niche sites I'm not sure. I myself will be launching an ecommerce this month and I'm still trying to figure out what would be the best seo

They do profitable but if you put ads near the game, nobody will click. I would rather invest my energy in CPA solution.
There can be money in flash games, but it is a tough market.Flash games is just like the traditional board game market. They can take forever to develop, test, balance and distribute and the success can be hit or miss.many game sites use CPA offers as other ways to earn "bonuses" or upgrades.
