What would you do as an admin here at BHW?

1. Ban all the people who keep posting worthless posts to raise their post count. 2. Ban people who subtly post their services/links in threads (Ex: Best Fiverr Recommendation Thread) 3. Stop the BST threads for websites where they don't post samples, and 1000 people bump the thread (clusterfuck) 4. Change the post/user/av/format so it's on the left (not vertical), or at least give us the option in the User CP. 5. More themes, having one black theme isn't wonderful. 6. Require BST to incorporate a serp tracker via external url to track site campaigns, min 3 per thread to follow results. 7. Require more details in BST so people stop asking is this safe for new sites. 8. Add disclaimer in BST explaining nothing is Panda/update safe, no one knows, yet people "claim" it or ask it.

9. Allow people with 1K posts to enter private forum sections, they've contributed far more than enough to gain/deserve access. 10. Make Scritty a mod, seriously I even sent a message, he's hands down the right person for it. 11. Fix the left side bar menu links to add the sections correctly, right now a ton are missing. 13. Send me a PM and we'll talk some more..
 
I know its not possible to get HARRO back, but I loved all the little games and giveaway's he did.

That April fool's dickroll was hilarious.

The contests giving away free jrvip memberships were cool as hell. Like the year the members designed the Christmas logo for BHW and a different banner was used everyday or so. If you were picked you got a jrvip for a year.

If I remember right Po' you had a contest asking us to guess what was the newest pet you you were getting.... Hows your gerbil?

An occasional surprise or holiday giveaway would be nice. Gives us a break and lets even the newbies participate more in the forum.
 
14. Add some real similes, like bowdown, wtc, coold, etc. ie (smiliesftw.com) 15. Fix the stars and remove the white border around them so they look clean (personally I think the white/blue stars and the dark blue should be reversed).
 
Notification of thanks and notification of post quote would be really cool. Plus a notification ever time some one post something on your thread.

I think there is already when someone posts in the thread, not sure.

But a notification of thanks, no way, some people would get spammed with 500-1,000 emails...

Here is my 2 cents and i think it will be for a long term with some respect:

Some how have BHW like a social network where many can interact with others in a better way..
Live chat but only for those that have some posts maybe starting with 100 not to much noobs as they seem to talk to much..lol

Social network where we can add friends new people this is a business and learning from others and share is a great experience.
This forum is by far the best place to learn and know other marketers!!
 
I have an idea to create a page/blog in BHW for newbies ,and put some methods which works all the time{like creating some forum acc,email accs,forum posting,VA}--people will say newbie's can search the forum..bla blah..but the real fact is BHW is like a sea,so it would be good if we add a page/blog which every newbie should read, abt small money making.... making them supporting themselves and then ,once they can offer for hosting and domains them move to CPA,and other affiliate sites
 
-Follow users as on twitter, show if they are online and their new posts and replies on different tabs
-Follow threads, something better than subscription, with notification like: (3 new posts on ________ thread), possibility to view the post from the last viewed reply.
-As others said notifications for quotes
-Build-in chat, if someone is online send a chat message, then he will responds fast, chat like a floating tab at the bottom of the page.
-More organized and clear user menu at the top.
-Facilities and faster time response to pay for JrVIP, Donor and publish sales threads.

Hope this gives some ideas.
 
An In-House BHW escrow service so that people could buy services from here with more confidence.

Buyer pays the money to BHW and BHW releases the funds to the seller when buyer has received the goods/service.
 
Put up a Start up or crowd funding section.. for us investors .. or lazy people in general!

Good ideas so far for the most part!

I'd like to start by sharing a list of recent changes I've seen that are cool:

1. Stickied threads on BST are no longer green, and I've noticed views and comments increasing because people realize the stickied threads are BST threads and not forum rules or something.

2. The new forums are cool

3. Very happy jr vip got a facelift and returned old threads.

4. ...more I'm forgetting.

Some ideas:

- Easy submit form when creating a BST to add to the Do Not Share list if it's an item (or service, depending).

- Proxy lists unleachable unless logged in.

- Automatically place threads with [GET] in the downloads section and require a VT before posting (I actually have no idea if this is possible without modding the forum).

- A more prominent platform for CPA / Aff Network admins to promote their services.

- Make the ability to advertise on BHW more of a focal point, and be up front about it. I bet many people don't advertise because they're uninformed on the process.

- Specific mods for each area. It's easier to keep watch when you only have to scan one sector (with a .50 cal).

- $2 - $5 a month to keep a BST thread posted.

- *controversial* The ability to pay a little extra to make your thread stand out.

- No special characters in BST threads. No stars (* is ok).

- Required Introduction Thread before someone is allowed to post elsewhere or send a PM.

- Perhaps an additional link or banner allowed in signature as an extra.

- More compartmentalized BST. This will require threads to be more specific on their services. You get more money from more BST threads, and users will be able to pick what services they want specifically.

- No BST allowed without some sort of report offered. A report is a receipt.

- A more open and meaningful thread/service rating system and an easy way to search for threads via its rating. This will keep BST providers honest and create invaluable feedback for the BST providers and the community. Good rating will be anonymous, bad ratings will be signed with your username.

- *controversial* ...a lounge forum dedicated to the discussion of...politics and/or religion...yeah, i know...but I think it creates legitimacy because it draws a different kind of user. ...Actually this idea sounds way too close to DP

- Make jr vip forums appear in the left bar. I block a lot of scripts, so I don't know if it does, but having to go to main forum then jr vip is honestly too much of clicking for a lot of people.

- You probably already do this: Reach out to software providers who make a BST thread with the possibility of fancy things on their thread and priority listing (or whatever) if they make a BHW special deal.
 
Put in a Buyer/Seller area where people can post their "Hire a Freelancer" threads, and specify who can reply based on iTrader reviews (how many, % positive, etc...)
That way no one is getting bombarded with "i can do this for super cheap... blah blah" when they are looking for quality work.
