I was making good money with over 10,000 tumblr accounts until a couple of months ago when tumblr screwed up the tag search. Does anyone know how to get tags showing again in tag search ?

I am currently trialing my own auto post bot, and through that API at least I have found that max number of posts you can make in a day is 100, and the max number of posts you can have in your post queue to be 300.

In my experience I seem to need a constant supply of posts, at least two per hour to generate interest in my Tumblr. When I post new content, both older and newer posts get rebologs and likes, however, when there are no new posts made activity drops away quickly. I have also found that the optimum time to post is between 4 EST and 7 EST. At some point I will probably write a tool to actually confirm stats on posts, however, from looking at my dash alone it would seem that posts made in that time frame seems to generate the most likes, reblogs and followers.

I need to come up with a better solution to actually sourcing content at the moment, however, posting using my bot alone is generating about 40 to 50 new followers a day.

This is the same approximate timeframe I have noted as most active for my sites, according to Tumbalyze, a website which uses the Tumblr API to show stats on your recent activity. Accordingly, I have set queues to execute during that window.

thats crazy - 10K accounts? how do you manage that? i had 70 accounts and i had to rent 7 VPS..
$0.5/day, and you make $5K a day?

as for like limit, as far as i know - 2 months ago, there was no limit because i was liking 50K a day.
now? 1-2 weeks ago, my program stopped after liking 700. so i am not sure if 700 is the hourly limit? daily limit?

Don't want to flip my 2 primairy ones yet. might flip the others when they get bigger. I use the primairy ones to feed followers to the others so they grow quicker (1k uv's daily in a week). I had this running on autopilot for a few months and only recently started 'monitizing' since I had other stuff that was working great. So i'm still looking for a better method But now I read how much they can be flipped for maybe I just need to build a few of these and flip them each month
edit: where would you flip such a site ? (adult content)
