Correct. The posts are not deleted, they still exist.

What happens is this: After your redirect time period elapses, the database tags each post with 301 redirect code. You don't see this when you go back and edit/view the posts...as it happens at a higher level.

Same is true for the cloaking feature. It happens at the database level. The posts are still there, but it is redirected/cloaked.

Except that the cloaking isn't working. Or maybe I'm missing something that you'll explain when you answer my questions?

Funny you should ask. This option is being added NOW. In fact I think it is already deployed. Update your plugin later today and the new option will let you change your default redirect URL. I have a couple of tests going right now where I use the entire plugin domain to link to a whole other domain. Blasting all urls with backlinks...

I ask again, what about those tests ?

This plugin seems very interesting but it seems like they are a few bugs to be worked out still.

Sorry for the delay. I was out of town all week. I'm now getting caught up on things..

Mandom: I understand that you are having problems with cloaking. Have you removed the old version of plugin and reinstalled the new version and checked the box to enable cloaking?

I am using the feature on 3 blogs right now and it is working perfectly. I want to assist to find out the issue with your site but I need more information to help. If you are OK with sending me the URL and login info, I will look at your blog and figure out what is not right with the system and make it work for you. I'm not out to get your password or anything so feel free to change it before and after you give me access.
Thanks,
Brian

Riton,

This feature is working great.. It works exactly like it should, the clicks are all being redirected to the site that I chose (my money site), and the blog pages are still being indexed by Google -just like it should.

I set up a brand new site 10 days ago (a few days before my trip). My main site has gotten over 200 redirected clicks from the plugin blog.

I ask again, what about those tests ?

Another cool thing I am seeing with the cloaking option is this:

On the standard method using 301 redirects for all traffic, the pages all bounce and land a few spots lower. Like on some of the early sites I used this on, the sites hit #1 for dozens of keywords. Then after the 301 redirects were set, the individual pages dropped 3-5 positions then climbed a position or two landing them in spot 2-4 in most cases.

I went back and turned cloaking ON for these pages, and the positions all improved up a couple of spots with NO link building. So I am going to blast the pages again and see if I can't get them back to #1 with some anchor text link building via SB and xrumer with wildly varied anchor text.

Don't get me wrong... it works great with cloaking or standard redirects. I just like to push the limits of things and share what I learn.

Happy Memorial Day Everyone-

I ask again, what about those tests ?

I have sent you login information and a sample page where the cloaking isn't working. This particular site never had the non-cloaking version installed so that is not the issue. Any chance you'll also answer the rest of the questions I asked 5 days ago?

Hi - I emailed you on your site a few days ago questions I had. I am new member and I do not have pvt msg abilities now. I was wondering of the product is still being offered?

Yes sir the product is still being offered and it works great.

I didn't see your email..but i was out of town last week and working from my iPhone most of the time. I will look through my emails and get back to you ASAP.

I have 2 sites with 100% unique articles on both of them that were once on the front page of big G for 5-10 keywords and now they are losing rankings every day that passes.

Would this plugin boost them back for other keywords at all?

QUESTION: I'm very interested in this plugin and may get it for some of my smaller sites. I have one authority site in particular that I'm not sure about using it on though. But I have an idea I wanted to run past you.

No offense....but I don't want to put any crapppy spun content on my authority site no matter where it appears. But what if I created a totally separate wordpress site that had the same URL as my authority site but with maybe the number 1 in the title and then I did my own re-direct to my authority site?

If your plugin is working it's magic on a separate site that is re-directed to mine, do you think I'd get the same benefits from the plugin as normal? I'm guessing I would beause in Google, the person seeing the site in the serps would see the website with the numbe 1 added, they'd click on it, then go straight to my "real" site that I want them to see and never know the difference. I guess the question is: would the dummy site rank as well in the serps as the normal site would have?

man... I just cannot say with that amount of information. This isn't a silver bullet that will make any site increase rank. I want to be realistic in my response and just say that this plugin injects a site with a ton of unique content. G loves unique content and every site I have used it on has increased in rank for lots and lots of keywords.

What I would do is load the plugin (take advantage of our free trial) and create some longtail keyword lists and build posts to your 'real' unique articles. Then do some link building to the new posts.

I can't promise that your site will regain the rankings. But we do offer a money-back guarantee on our free trial (lol, sarcasm) Give it a try! :)

Yea that should work...but I would suggest that instead of buying a domain with 1 at the end, just buy any aged domain. Doesn't have to have PR, just some age.

Set it up..you don't even need to use any 'real/unique' content. The plugin will take care of that. Set up a blog site and use the cloaking feature to link to your REAL site.

Set that up, and blast that thing with every link you can. The pages will rank for your longtail keywords and the traffic will be cloaked for users right to your main site. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Well both sites "were" ranking before the updates/filters that big G implemented. I had them ranking for 10-20 keywords on the front page of big G and loaded them with unique content on a regular basis since I was getting so much organic traffic. But now nothing I do works...

Plus I don't have 5 sites so I wouldn't pay over $100 per month just for 2 sites :)

I finally downloaded the plugin. The created articles seem to have nothing to do with my keywords. They are kinda hard tho. Also do you manually edit the posts for better seo or just leave as is? Will these pages rank with poor content? At the moment i dont have any linking tools. Do your posts still rank without link building them?

Winner winner chicken dinner

LOL. Ok, so just to clarify. Are you saying that if I buy aged domain "barbiedollsforlittlegirls.com" and I use that dummy site for the plugin, but then I have it forwarded to my real site "toughmendrive4x4s.com" that the serp results will show the 4x4 site and not barbie? Even if it's all forwarded properly, I just want to make sure I don't buy some dumb ass url that will get people NOT to click on the links. :D

FYI: The cost for this plugin is 25$ per month for a total of 5 sites.

If you use the plugin on Domain1.com and you are redirecting/cloaking the pages created and sending the traffic to Domain2.com, then your SERP page will show the ranking for Domain1.com but when real users click the links they will be taken right to Domain2.com

1 - where do you change the 301 destination URL for a specific page?

You can't change the 301 destination for a specific page. That information is all in the database and it not accessible from the Wordpress interface. If you want posts to go to specific pages, you should auto-post them individually. I do this by creating keyword lists for a specific page and posting all of them directed to that page.
Ie: title of my 'real post' is: "Best Widgets for the Money"...I would create a big list of longtail keywords and paste them all into the auto-post directing the 301 to the page I specify.

If you have articles already published, just delete them and re-publish directed to the link you desire.

2 - how do you get the cloaking to work (checking the enable cloaking box isn't working)

I think I already answered this via PM. The cloaking works on the same delay as the 301 redirect. So if you plan to use cloaking, just set your redirect to 0 days and the cloaking should work instantly.

what is the default redirect URL?

The default redirect URL is a feature just for the auto-post system. Organic clicks will still be redirected to their initial destination page (your real article).

Now that I've upgraded to the latest and greatest I have more questions:

1 - where do you change the 301 destination URL for a specific page?
2 - how do you get the cloaking to work (checking the enable cloaking box isn't working)
3 - what is the default redirect URL? I thought it was supposed to redirect to whatever page the search term originally found?
