I am trying to add my own articles but have this error:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/rankable/public_html/keyword-explosion/config.php on line 3

What i should to do?

Could you write step by step best practice for new site? How many articles to add per day , etc..


And another thing - my own articles can be in HTML with <p> tags etc... ? Because i would add images or videos...



Right now results (both new sites):

1. Health niche added 80 posts in first day, got 9 indexed, wassup shows that google bot is exploring my site, but on second day i didn't got indexed more. For this site i am using OP database of articles. Also on second day added 400 new articles.
News: on 3rd day, there are 138 indexed pages on google! SE traffic is zero, but i think i will soon see something.


2. Dating niche, added today first articles, around 350 , i see google bot exploring it. None of posts indexed. Here i am using my database of articles, which is better in terms of uniqueness, only problem is with formating, we need HTML. This one will be interesting because i harvested tons of keywords, around 10k of long tails with easy competition.

Any comment on the 301 redirect issue? Not being able to change the redirect, even after deleting the article, is a pretty big problem. I'm not the only one impacted so it'd be nice if you'd address this bug.

Ive tried disabling the plugin after importing my keywords, to stop auto posts redirecting to the wrong page. This doesnt seem to work since the posts i import dont redirect after plugin is imported. Anyone try redirecting right away? would google still index these?

Since the redirect thing isn't really working right IMO, I've just been using the cloaking and not redirecting. However, for me the redirect is essential and being able to control where it goes, not just having it be random, is crucial so if the OP doesn't fix this issue I'll have to cancel my sub. Hopefully he'll start being more responsive in his support than he has been lately.

completely agree with mandom. I think this plugin could be very useful but doesnt work on sites with different pages. Response from the creators is extremely slow. Ill have to cancel if something isnt fixed

well, i see that the OP is/has been online since Adam and I posted but apparently surfing the forum is more important than providing support to his users. I'll cancel today if I don't get an acceptable response with an ETA for a solution by the end of the day.

If I understand your issue correctly, you want to remove the redirect. You have deleted the post, but have you removed the post from trash? Wordpress keeps the permalink (and thus, the 301 redirect) alive until the post is deleted AND removed from trash.

And we honestly will probably not be making a feature to allow users to change the redirect for posts. Reason being: we have made this system to be as simple as possible and this feature would add a bit of unnecessary complexity. If this is a deal-breaker for you, I will gladly refund your money as it seems this system isn't exactly what you are looking for.

Will catch up with other questions today.

Yes, I permanently deleted the post and the auto redirect is still in effect even when I add a manual redirect. I tested it with posts not made by your plugin and they work fine.

Well I added another site. chose a text file in syntax. Loaded 712 keywords and let rip.

On viewing it appears it has ignored my syntax file and posted 700 odd articles that have no relevancy ie not using the file I uploaded!.

Can you please look into this for me Schwagoo?

Ill post again since i dont seem to get answered. How will google index these posts if I set the plugin to redirect right away. This seems to be the only way I can use this plugin. I tried to disable the plugin after inserting my own keywords but they dont redirect after 3 days.

If the redirect is set to Zero, the posts will likely never get indexed. This is why I have recommended a recommend a redirect period of 3 days.

Alternatively, you can enable the Cloaking feature, and then set your redirect to Zero. This will cloak all of the links right away. Googlebot will still see and rank the spun content, and your users will be redirected.

I?m really enjoying this software but can you please make 2 corrections to it?

1. Is it possible to increase the 100 keywords at a time to unlimited? When harvesting keywords to load up, it?s taking a lot of manual time to sort them by 100 each.

2. Also, when you click on ?link list? in wordpress, would it be possible to reverse the order that it aligns the keywords? Reason being is that when we go to create backlinks to the created links, most service providers will ask for both the URL and the keyword associated with it. When you load up a list of keywords it sorts them from top to bottom, but in Wordpress it is spitting out the URL?s from bottom to top. See below for an example.

When I load up a list of keywords, it appears like this:

Keyword1
Keyword2
Keyword3
Keyword4

But when I click on ?link list? in Wordpress it spits them out like this:

Keyword4
Keyword3
Keyword2
Keyword1

If you could just flip that around, then I could copy/paste the keywords into excel and then copy/paste the url?s right next to them in another column and everything would line up easy for sending the data to a service provider to run a scrapebox blast, etc. (Most of them will say ?Send me a list of your URL?s with keywords next to them, etc.)
