I tried to submit a video on Vagex today and it now forces you to check a mandatory box saying that your video must not contain Adsense or you will be banned. Why? :(

Because they would be committing fraud and get fucked over by Google if they didn't. Nobody is watching the ads, but Google have to pay for the impression.

^This.

And a lot of their members this month have had their adsense accounts disabled. Talking from personal experience I wouldn't even be using Vagex that much, the way they get their views to count (Which barely even works :p) is mostly by related videos which Youtube don't really care for.

But seriously if you want to get your Adsense banned, use Vagex... Its like getting 100 people to click on your ad's 5-10x daily. (Presuming that you have ad's before the videos).

Actually, Vagex wouldn't be committing fraud whatsoever. A viewer is still watching your video, whether they click your advertisement is up to them, though the chances are low, they are still potential buyers of what is being advertised.

Google do not pay anything. Other advertising companies WANT to advertise on YouTube, they PAY Google to advertise and anytime someone clicks their advertisement, that goes STRAIGHT to Google FROM the company. Google give YOU (the user) the share of that one click/impression.

You clearly haven't heard of In-stream advertising, I really wouldn't be trying to give SpK a lesson on Google...

i knew this day would come... anyways vagex is begining to be suckish my credits gets eating up toquick and my view count does not resemble what i spent not even a 1/4

"they are still potential buyers of what is being advertised". Yes, indeed! I wonder why there are people that run it on a VPS 24/7 to harvest credits... hmm, I also wonder why there is a "minimize" function in there.

Jokes aside, no one on Vagex is a potential buyer of anything. They don't even watch the videos. Don't even try to deny that ;)

Wow, you respond quick O_o lol

But im not trying to insult you or anything like that (in case you thought i was) but i've done my research.

Anyone who uses Vagex is a potential buyer. I DENY EVERYTHING!

Vagex is like an advertising program, your video gets advertise to random people (Yes, people who even use VPS) who are sometimes forced to like/comment/favourite/subscribe by a bot lol

Note: I was going to make a joke about blind people wanting to hear a video on Vagex, but then i decided not to.

Either way, there is an easy solution. Don't enable monetization until you inflate your views to the desired amount. Problem solved.

As far as I know usually Google forces such services to stop showing ads, because they want the AdWords advertisers to be happy. Last year they forced Twiends to remove the YouTube services because of the same reasons - inflated costs to the advertisers from untargetted traffic.

Seriously?! Dang, but it does kinda make sense i guess.

Untargetted traffic, those words leave my blood like a river of stones.

Yeah nobody watches Vagex videos. The only reason I ever used Vagex was to get a buck or two extra a day from Adsense. Now that Adsense is banned and high viewcounts don't matter anymore, Vagex is pretty much useless now.

never really worked anyways...but shame, vagex fucked over afew people.

This is not true.

So... if you form a group... so that everyone in the group would leave their Televisions on... and not watch it.... would that be fraud because the networks charge advertisers to run the ads??

of course not.

Google will push it's weight on anyone that they think hurts them..
they can send all the letters in the world.... but it does not mean that they will win in court.

People comply to avoid the legal hassles... not necessarily because google is right.

It's true, and if you actually ever ran a view for view service previously like I have, you'd know.

You are saying that it is true.. that it is considered fraud?

Its better that they have introduced this because your adsense account will be safer.
